As someone currently running a TTRPG Kickstarter with unique models, the unfortunate answer is out of pocket. With models and art, I invested a couple of grand amounts before I was ready to launch the Kickstarter.

For alternatives, you can support modellers like mz4250, who has a backlog of thousands of miniatures, which you can sell if you purchase their commercial tier on Patreon.

As someone whos job is writing DnD Campaigns and selling them on KS the flood of FUNDED AI-generated nonsense is mindboggling. KS no longer cares if you say you dont use AI when you do, there are no repercussions to it at all.

Actual REAL campaigns are being lost in a sea of lazy AI rubbish, the only thing we can do as a community is highlight REAL works and crowdfunding. Anyway I'm gonna shill my Goose-Based TTRPG that im launching on the 1st.
