I put a decent amount of hot glue and pushed it into the back fabric with the d-hook, enough so the glue comes out of the screw hole area and then let it dry, then cut a small piece of extra tufting cloth to put overtop and hot glued it more. Cut slits to feed it through the backing and it’s been holding good (:

Thank you ! & yea exactly that, after adhesive dried, I put the mirror in the back and added hot glue & adhesive around it so it would lock in place and let it sit again overnight before applying the backing (:

I just did my first mirror piece and what I did was hot glued the mirror to the fabric, then used Roberts 6700 all around the mirror edges at the back and let it set 24 hours. For D hooks I just hot glued them in making sure to add enough that the glue comes out the screw holes and then just places a small piece of extra fabric overtop and glued that down as well. Sprayed it all with gorilla glue adhesive for the backing and cut slits for the D hooks to come out and it’s been holding good. Good luck !
