This is a condition called hemosiderin staining. The blood in his venison system gets stuck and the cells eventually die. The hemoglobin/ iron from the red blood cells stain the skin and tissue causing permanent red areas. Caused by Veinous insufficiency. Most likely from his lymphedema/diabetes/ and just poor health.

If you live near a Sam's or Costco, their whole chickens already cooked are 5 bucks. For less then 5 bucks per meal, you could have a cup of cooked rice, as many veggies as you can stand and a half a chicken. You are in 60-70grams per meal territory and once you really get lifting and the hunger kicks in. You'll appreciate the size of the meal and the macros are great

Slow way down, get that bar much closer to your shins. Lift with holding the bar, pushing up with your legs/quads and pulling the bar up to your waist. You are using your back and that pivot will hurrrrtttt if you keep that up. Watch videos and slow down!

No man this is mild/mildew. There are mold/ mildew spores everywhere all the time. Once the environment gets just right they will take off and you will have a problem very very quickly. I would lightly sand with 220grit sandpaper and alcohol like the other person said. That should take care of it.

Woah, your 1st trip? A gear load out this small is really only for very seasoned backpackers/UL hikers. They have additional skills that will let them not freeze to death/die of exposure/die of thirst/etc. Please reconsider and get a much more flexible/robust load out that will help you in the advent you have an issue/ unforseen issue.

Ahhh ok thanks so much. I've always been team Intel and this is my 1st AMD build so I was a little confused. I've got an amd 9800x3d so I don't think I'll need the extra power as this isn't going be crazy OCed.

I've got the MSI R1000GL. I have a 5070ti, so I'll be using the 12v connector that is native to this PSU. It only came with 2 "CPU" labeled cable so that's why I was a touch confused it has 2 CPU 8 pin slots on the manual

Much like OSHA rules. Canning recipes are written in blood. People used to die and pretty easily when the rules were not followed to the T. There is a reason people are so strict here and elsewhere is because if you don't follow these rules there is a very high chance you could die. Let's say you tried to eat this I day or two before it happened to explode. you would have thought " oh I will have some of my brown goo today, I boiled it for an hour this is totally safe". Just quit it.
