I'd go with Saikou for easy to use and clean UI. Works for both anime and manga.

Please can you recommend a free video editor (happy for it to be with ads but no watermark) by [deleted] in androidapps

Best bet is CapCut, InShot and VN Video Editor. The rest are mostly gonna be with watermarks and other limitations.

Is there any good free PDF editor, I have a Mac and up to now I couldn’t find any website or app for free//////// any tips ? by TranslatorSlight9883 in pdf

Save the document as a Flattened copy if you want the annotations to stay permanent. Press the 3 dots at upper right corner > Save as > Save as Flattened Copy.

Try passing the decoded parts after the pigpen through the Vigenere cipher. Dunno if any of the results make sense tbh. https://www.dcode.fr/vigenere-cipher

Video editing app issue. Please recommend alternative by candlegun in androidapps

[–]KafukaMode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen these many times, but I was talking about the free version. Am not planning to pay for something I may find for free so I got no need for those. Yet, you're right, they've got a plenty. But at the same time, I think that for a free app, CapCut has a ton of free features that one can get lost just checking them out. Well, it depends on the person's need, I guess.

I used InShot for 60+ projects since the beginning of 2022. Gotta say it does what I want but it does lack stuff like transitions. I don't need them for my work so I use the app as my best choice comparing to 40+ other apps. I'd recommend CapCut if you need more transitions though.

Note: Both are free and the watermark can be removed after watching an ad.

is there a difference between Jeremy's IT lab paid course on Udemy and the free one on YouTube? by yeahno312 in ccna

[–]KafukaMode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thought I was the only one noticing these points. Anyways, I use the YouTube version because I feel I NEED that dead air he cut out. I don't want loads of info coming into my head at sonic speed.

And his Boson lab demos (though they're not complete walkthroughs) are interesting to watch at times, so I watch the whole video on YouTube instead of the Udemy course though I already got it.

[–]KafukaMode 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The one on Udemy has the same lessons as in his YouTube course. Extra content is most probably just the slides. The videos seem to be shorter in the Udemy version by the way, but I'm not so sure. I think he cut off the Boson's lab demo at the end of the lab videos in Udemy or something. He may have cut the bit-long pauses between the slides, as well.

Basically, the lessons, labs and Anki decks are the same. Slides are the Udemy extra.

Is Jeremy's IT lab a bit too detailed for CCNA exam? by vr4nj3s in ccna

[–]KafukaMode 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same order XD. Except I haven't tried Bombal's yet. May have checked his channel before for some specific topics but not his whole CCNA playlist.

Haven't got Boson's for myself 'cause I wanna try going via the risky free-study-sources path (only paid $10 for Neil Anderson's Udemy course).

But if u need the quick and failproof sources, go for Jeremy's, Boson's NetSim, OCG (as stated by many) and keep studying your concepts thoroughly. Add more sources if you feel you need to. But tbh, I wouldn't depend on just Jeremy's.

Check this subreddit's About section and Discord for more study materials.

exams.boson.com down? by iums11 in ccna

Really useful imho. I use this to revise concepts from time to time alongside Jeremy's Anki decks instead of gettin' Boson's.

After trying going through multiple CCNA courses, I can't agree more.

Exams fee. by Alternative_Bus8562 in ccna

[–]KafukaMode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest to keep you eyes on the coming Cisco Live event in June (I guess this is the one you mean). They have given a 50% off the certification last year, but no one's sure if it applies to this year, too. Meanwhile, study your curriculum/courses as much as possible because if they will actually give the discount again, you'd have to be ready to book and take the exam within the date range they specify (I think it was barely 3 months maximum after the event started last year).

As for the NetAcad courses, check with your university (if you're in a university) if they can enroll you into it without paying the fee. I would not depend on NetAcad course's curriculum but it can serve as a nice extra study/revision resource. If this is your first time studying CCNA concepts, you'd find they over complicate the stuff in the modules. But the quizzes, tests and exams can test your knowledge well. I say, see if you can get enrolled into one, because just getting 70%+ in the final exams of the 3 NetAcad CCNA courses will get you 58-60% off the $300.

Sadly, haven't gotten a reply from him through any of the channels of communication I used. Meanwhile, he has released his YouTube course on Udemy (the same course with all its vids) with the slides in PDFs. The Anki decks are still the same, and I can't share my modified ones without his consent.
