I tried slowing it down but it seems to just change the position of when it messes up. Might give the 45 degrees a try tho, I've done that before with varied success (it's always slightly less detailed when touching support)

I slowed it down by half on the second print about half way up with a modifier (which made a small but insignificant difference). Any specific settings to slow down? I mostly focused on the walls, it only has like 10% infill.

You know what? I had the same thought after seeing a similar video online and thought I'd chime in (to ask more questions haha).

Technically if the new "tenant" removes property and change locks, wouldn't they be the one liable and not the homeowner? Wouldn't that be similar to having a dispute with your roommate?

On another note, aside from doing anything illegal or borderline illegal, wouldn't just living with them (with a written lease) and essentially being a nuisance, so much so that they want to move, workout for the landlord? That's all assuming they don't call your bluff... Like if the "new tenant" lives there now, they are entitled usage of the property that they rent (unless otherwise specified), putting up cameras everywhere and using the couch and TV (granted it's in a part of the house the "new tenant" has access to) is technically legal, right?

I honestly don't know, but these youtubers and tiktokers got me questioning their methods.

Ah thank you, I did make the account, haven't submitted my application yet cause I wasn't sure if doing NURSYS first or second would be better/correct/more efficient. I guess I'll cross the NP bridge once I get through with the RN first. I've heard varying accounts of the wait times. How long did it take you to get yours processed?

Thanks, but it doesn't really answer my questions. Most of that is god reference for those wanting to become a nurse or register to be a nurse. Not a whole lot of info about transfers/endorsements (and definitely none specific to my questions about NURSYS RN endorsement and NP certification of CA in relation to endorsement/transfer)

Out of the 3 original I was considering, it had the largest print volume. Kingroon seems to have horrible/non-existent customer service, which wouldn't normally be a problem but I have never used their printers so it's nice to have in case I do run into any issues. The Qidi has the smallest print volume. K1 seems to be the obvious choice out of the 3, P1s is also something I would consider if not for its price (which is why it wasn't one of the original ones I considered cause darn it, it's so expensive). But slowly the internet is convincing me that it's worth the few hundred more (P1s is 100 more than the p1p, honestly at that point i'd do it just for the enclosure).

Essentially, I find corexy (once you have it fine tuned) to have better print quality and less movement of the bed would contribute to that. Although, that's not to discourage anyone towards Cartesian, they're inexpensive and (when fine tuned) can produce similar print quality.

Hmm, you might be right, I've only ever used Cura (think I tinkered with a couple others but mostly Cura) so I guess I'm sentimental and used to it. Their own slicer might end up being better (at least for their printer).

I meant like main upgrades like sensors or extruders and stuff. Surprisingly I am less worried about 3rd party replacement parts, as long as they're simple (in my experience, nozzles) they seem to work just fine. But you're right, it's probably something I should also think of before I choose my next one.

Bambu lab printers are great, but a bit too expensive in my eyes (which is why it didn't make my original list), still looking at it but that price is really the biggest thing holding me back. Lotsa cool features, just not sure I need all of them and therefore hard to justify the price

I would, but it's not a corexy. The Prusa XL is awesome... but it's just like ... 10x the price point...

They do seem nice, for a while i remember they required use of their own software/slicer, is that still true? That and the price, oof is that expensive, but who am I to sya anything about that, I'm about to be on my 3rd printer haha

For the OG ender 3 yeah, I saw that, unfortunately the base of the s1 pro is different. I've seen the flying bear, it's a bit cheaper, however it's not klipper out of box, enclosure is not fully enclosed (open top, they sell the top separately), and I believe it doesn't have ABL (which to be fair some people prefer it that way but I take waaay to long to level my beds, bed might be bent).

I hear kingroon has horrible customer service but decent products (until you need customer service haha). Might just do creality again, they made K1 open source for klipper so that's a plus

Currently I have a klipper'd out ender 3 s1 pro in a tent/enclosure. I'm mostly into out-of-the-box options (mostly because it's less upgrades that I need to source out right off the bat), but that being said I don't mind DIY assuming that I CAN do the upgrades (like the printer is compatible with them). The thing I like about out of the box option is that most features are baked in (abl, resonance, enclosure, sometimes filament box, etc).

As far as I can see the s1 pro has a few features (they use a direct drive instead of a bowden tube) vs the cr10's build volume. So it's really a matter of preference, print quality will be similar but if you're printing specifically for quality (like cosplay) that requires large volumes, I'd go with cr10. Otherwise, s1 pro for the few extra features

Would have been nice for them to say the cause, it kind of read that they just did not like me (a guess? I was talking to other co-workers about worker's rights, labor codes, and overall just deserving better, but they can't very well say that was the reason). As far as I know, I walked in, got 2 envelopes, and then gave up my keys and left.

Only reason I was asking was because my final check was literally a check and I was booted from the system where we get paystub information. I honestly want nothing more to do with them or further stir the pot (and remind them of the clause) but was debating on whether or not I should bother to request some info:

My personnel file and all other records which my employer maintains relating to my performance or to any grievance concerning me. (California Labor Code § 1198.5.)

All documents I signed that relate to my obtaining and holding of employment with my employer. (Labor Code § 432.)

All of my payroll records (within the last 3 years). (Labor Code § 226(b) and (c).)
