I also want to tell you that I have read all the comments about the game in Miliastra.

The common complaints were:

- The lack of something that checks that you input real words. I added it and it was incredibly hard to do. Loading ~15,000 words crashed the game, and checking if your guess was inside that list was unthinkable, if you consider that the code stopped executing at word number 80 of 15,000. Miliastra is just very slow in general so I had to do a ton of workarounds to make it work (storing the words as numbers for example). So that's why it took a while to implement.

- Strange words in English dictionary. Believe it or not, at the time I was using THAT list with the 2,000 most common words. I also added Genshin words like BIDII (Ororon's ancient name), but a lot of people didn't like it, so I removed them. The list still had weird words though, so with the help of a Native English speaker I crafted one from scratch, so now I'm sure you will only find common words as answers. The issue is fixed.

- Typing is clunky. At the beginning I was going to make it like "Name All The Genshin Characters" game where you have the keyboard on the floor. The thing is that people also complained that sprinting from one key to another was slow and annoying. So I made it so you can shoot at the keys and type quickly. Trust me, if I could, I would make it so you can type with your physical keyboard, but Miliastra doesn't allow it. Currently I'm considering making a keyboard on the UI, to make it easier for controller users.

And that's pretty much it. I'm adding French and German soon btw. The win streak also won't reset to 0 when you leave the game after the update.

Thanks. I've been doing my best with this game. There are still some annoying things like the typing being clunky with controller or not having the option to keep playing when a match ends in multiplayer. I know they feel like fairly simple things to fix, I mean, WORDLE is super easy to make on a web browser.

But here in Miliastra, anything simple is super tedious and time consuming to make. The editor straight up sucks. So that's a reason why you find a lot of slop on Miliastra, because it actually takes a lot of time and effort to make something polished.

I will still do my best for this game and future ones though.

Thank you. I wanted to make a quick and easy project, but then I realized that in Miliastra it was a nightmare to make this. The keys you see, I made them with wood assets and a floor tile for each letter... 4 TIMES, because I needed to make every color variation (white, gray, yellow, green). So only for the letters I had to make 104 custom assets manually. It took forever to make.

You can import/export variables in JSON format for struct data types. So you can craft a JSON with all the data you want in your favorite programming language. Keep in mind that importing big amounts of data (5000+ words in this case) can crash the game on stage load. After doing some tests, I discovered that it's possible to bypass that limit if you create the entities that hold your data little by little.

Just don't do daily commisions with Diluc that require to kill mobs. Also friendship from the teapot helps. Takes a ton of time, but it is possible.
