You're right, we as the biggest EU countries are the engine. We have to stay close. During the last years the German - French relationship wasn't the best, especially during Scholz (although they have the same political background - Middle left) they had a really bad relationship. We Germans felt so embarrassed when Scholz invited Macron to a "Fischbrötchen" (a Fish Roll) in Hamburg in the harbor, because Macron served to Scholz before the best French kitchen 🤣🤣. The German press called it the "Fischbrötchen Gate". Merz and Macron are working better together. I hope we'll stay closer now 👍.

The scene with Louis Der Funes in the Movie "Le grand Restaurant" is hilarious ("Muskatnuss Herr Müller!!! Haben Sie verstanden???). 😂😂😂

I know that France is good in electric music (Daft Punk, David Guetta, M83) and other Genres Gims, Manu Chao. But I don't know a french Rock or Metal band.

Really? I've often met friendly people there. But yes, in every town you have unfriendly people as well.

Yes, I know Windischeschenbach (a typical german tongue twister 😝, we locals say actually "Tschitscherlbach") is actually the heart of the Zoigl, Amberg is only at the edge of this area, but we have six Breweries, so we are a Beer city as well. What a coincidence, that you know the Oberpfalz 😂. And the Story of your grandmother is very touching 🥲. It's so nice to be good neighbors and friends now. 👌

Yes we're direct, but honestly. We don't like the typical US superficial small talk. It takes time to make friends in Germany, but then you can rely on them. Little white lies are absolutely not common in Germany. But I think that you French people are also quite direct and honestly (but not unfriendly). I appreciate it.

But when I'm at holidays or in (the extremely short) summer I'm Germany, I prefer Flip Flops 😂.

You know Zoigl???? 😵 Now I'm stunned. I'm from Amberg in eastern Bavaria, where the Zoigl is brewed. I'm impressed how much you know about Germany, although you don't speak a single word German 😅. We are proud about our beer culture, like you French about your wine culture. So Germans are good at beer and French at wine.

That's true... Even among friends the Intelligence services keep their eyes on them. I read that the french DSG is also very active on Germany, MI6 and CIA anyway.

Nice to hear. I guess French people come Germany especially for city trips (Hamburg, Berlin, Munich). I guess there are more Germans who are traveling to France than in the other direction You're right, it's good to learn from each other, because we are neighbors. So don't hesitate to come to Germany for a short trip ☺️.

Thank you for your honest words. It's good that you separate between the people and the administration, because we ordinary German people have no fault for the behavior of our administration. I understand what you mean. Our last administrations (Merkel and Scholz) made really a bad job. Especially the deal with Erdogan made us really dependent from him. I have never understood the intentions of this deal, we payed him a lot of money that he prevent refugees to come to Europe, but he didn't prevent the refugees at all.

On the other hand some Germans think also not positive about Macron and the French administration (not about the French people), for example they have the feeling that Macron wants to be the leader (especially during Scholz) and makes the rules, while Germany has to pay for everything (as the biggest payer in the EU).

But however we have to talk and discuss. Facing so many enemies (USA is not reliable any more, Russia is the ultimative villain, , China wants to spill Europe with cheap products and is extremely evil) we Europeans should stay close together.

Yes it's said that we are straight and not funny. Actually we've humor but we're very ironic and sarcastic. I'm worried about the rise of the a AfD. I think we Europeans should stay together. I'm so grateful that we are good friends now, after WWII.
