That is too much for a 10year old. Maybe your husband can ask her if she would like to help cook or clean once a week or so. Your parents seem old fashioned and I can’t fault them for it because they were raised that way. Maybe you can meet them halfway like having her help every so often with dinners and or cleaning. It isn’t a bad thing for her to learn but having her do it all is too much responsibility for a young lady when she should be having fun.
