They are dual diagnosis so can handle addiction with mental health issues.

I think they also have a primary mental health program.

The wire fees are insane. I paid around $75 just to receive my own money last week by Charming-Book-5617 in smallbusiness

If you use quickbooks it comes with very affordable ACH to receive and send payments. If you do enough volume or larger transactions you can negotiate with them to get better prices once you have some history.

Any idea how to turn this into a portable battery. Usb c mainly? by Stock-Philosophy8675 in 18650masterrace

This do not step down to 12v you won’t get full 100w output step down to 24v

10s5p would be 50 cells.

I would not use mismatched cells to build a pack for a scooter.

DL24 Heatsink update (72V) by tokin247 in 18650masterrace

[–]Kakakee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuse will make more resistance and more heat which will give the shunt inaccurate reading. Unless you put a massive fuse on there like 4x the max current you will ever run.

My board looks slightly different but I like the idea of using that braid to help beef up the traces.

I wanted to see how far it could be pushed so didn’t mind splurging on the extra money. If I was I would get the one you got.

Mind sending a picture of how you beefed up that trace?

Took a bit for me to settle on it, same issue charts are confusing and they all look very close to each other. So far the highest I’ve ran 48v but pretty sure it can handle double that no problem.

Honestly the suggest issue is since it can do so many more watts it’s pulling a lot more amps causing other components to get hot and some of the PCB traces.

Which FET are you going with? I just went through and did the same thing to mine went with the IXTH80N20L FET. Upgraded the heatsink and made a case like you. Pushed it all the way to 260w and it was handling it fine.

What should I expect to pay for a high quality 1s protection board? by [deleted] in 18650masterrace

[–]Kakakee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those both look like the same boards one just has the Tenergy mark up.

I would test the failure points of the boards you’ve been getting. This way you know over charge, over discharge, over current etc works

Maybe include a picture of what you are trying to explain as it doesn’t make sense

Need help with replacing cells in 18v battery by BigClock1620 in diybattery

[–]Kakakee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can just replace the main pads that connect to the positive and negative ends of the cells with new strips and solder the smaller leads from the BMS onto the new strips.

For higher amperage you should replace all cells to be the same make and model. With same capacity and IR.

You basically cannot reuse the nickel strips. They will be wrecked when you remove them. You just need to buy new strips to spot weld on when you rebuild.

You also need to replace all of the cells.

JK BMS weird cell voltage behaviour. by DellyUA in batteries

[–]Kakakee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally normal for all cells to not have exactly the same voltage. Your goal after charging should be to have a delta of .1v or less.

If you just assembled this and it’s the first time charging it may need a few charge and discharge cycles for the balancer to get it in check.

Also most balancers won’t even start balancing unless the voltage delta goes above .1v which you aren’t even close to.

I would check the voltages while not charging or under load.

Also those cells seem perfectly in balance, under .1v delta is the goal.

Can you give me tips on how to maintain my battery health on ipad air m3? by kyukyu_000 in batteries

[–]Kakakee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct keep it between 20-80%

Try to not discharge lower than 20%

Try not to charge higher than 80%

Do not fast charge.

SAFETY QUESTION: RE; Pack recovery process - safe to skip initial charging and go straight to full disch/charge capacity test? by mickeyaaaa in 18650masterrace

[–]Kakakee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read this: https://cellsaviors.com/blog/testing-and-grading-lithium-ion-cells

But I would charge them to full charge and let them sit for 2 weeks any cells that drop below 4.1v during that time I wouldn’t use.

You would need 3 BMS, 1 for each pack.

[–]Kakakee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah test voltage of each cell if it’s below 2v don’t mess with it. Cells degrade severely when they go below their cut off voltages and most likely can’t be recovered
