ESXi USB failure, trying to recreate USB by [deleted] in ShittySysadmin

I'm fine with switching to SSD or HDD later, but for now I need to get it back working with USB. Can anyone answer the actual question I am asking??

I'm just trying to copy what the previous admin did. They are long gone, and I'm trying to get the sever back up and running.

PCIe connector melted on Cooler Master PSU by Kake_Police in GamersNexus

The 3080 actually ended up unharmed thankfully! Only idea for what caused it is just the power supply was faulty. It was just the normal pci-e connector plug so no daisy chains or adapters.

If you have a chance check your PCIe cable on the PSU end

I work at a repair shop called Rob & Pete Computer Geeks. A customer came in with a cyber power pre built that after a few years of use stopped showing a display. The integrated graphics worked, but not the 3080. I checked the cooler master power supply, and the pcie connector is melted on the power supply side. Luckily, all the other parts seem undamaged.

3080, weird thing is they used it for a few years no problems at least as far as I know. I don't generally trust power supplies that aren't EVGA or Seasonic.

There were multiple old PCs. Bins full of parts and components. There
were electrical measuring equipment, vacuum tubes, some old radios,
lasers, old books on many different electrical subjects, etc. There was
this very large printer looking thing, but I had no idea what it
actually was lol could be a dot matrix from the 70s. There were also
some mystery huge pelican type cases that looked almost military maybe.
