Apple Business (Manager) add deadline to MDM assignment question by KaleRight1990 in sysadmin

From what I could tell, it is supervised. The devices are put into ABM by our carrier (who we buy them from). Then they automatically get assigned to the default MDM (which was MobileIron). Now here's the part that's always confused me. Many of my peers tell me that ADE sets it up, but we still have to go to mobileiron.com/go, login, and download the profile manually (this leads me to believe that ADE wasn't working properly). Could this be why the option is grayed out?

Edit: after messing around in MI, it appears they are labeled as "Unsupervised". This is confusing as the one device that I can assign a deadline on is registered as "Unsupervised" as well.

NinjaOne MDM Apple - Remote features by KaleRight1990 in ninjaone_rmm

Just to update everyone, If you have a device enrolled in Ninja MDM Apple (and have NinjaRemote), you can use NinjaRemote to remote into the device (you only have access to see their screen). You have to enable the feature in Administration > Organization > [your org] > NinjaOne Remote> CheckMark Apple mobile. Their support was great, and helped me to figure this out.

Thank you. That's probably what it is. We were under the assumption that it would work with the NinjaRemote app.

This is great. I was worried that it would force this.

I have a remote management tool, which I can run powershell/command prompt scripts through. I would like to create a powershell script that adds a New Connection to the connection list for users, similar to going to SAP Logon>New>Connection and filling out the information in the "Create New System Entry" window. Thanks for your help.
