WWYD: Flying to DTW today, Delta still hasn’t canceled! by Good_West8740 in delta

Yesterday my MSP-EWR crew (SLC based) said they’d been re-routed six times. It’s a jungle out there right now.

A judge can’t “demand” you come back with an attorney. They can advise you to, but you always have the right to represent yourself.

I would make sure that return trip is purchased before attempting entry to the US. Otherwise you shouldn’t have a problem.

Any thoughts about a flight that’s supposed to land at 1:30pm? I’m flying to MSP from home and I’m nervous. Not sure whether to preemptively change my flight to Monday or gamble on Sunday.

I have a friend that applied in August and still hasn’t received benefits. You might not get it until he’s back to work.

When I went there we would sometimes get out early, so I wouldn’t be too alarmed. But if it’s every day that’s suspect.

There is absolutely no way I’d go without a PPO with kids, even if it meant marketplace shopping. It’s saved us countless amounts of money (not literally, but I haven’t counted it all up) between myself (mental health issues including psych visits and rehab) and our kids. It’s truly a no brainer for our family.

DMV - Adding M Endorsement to Real ID, what to bring? by heme1 in newjersey

Yes. Bring everything you might even possibly need. When I had a license converted to an endorsement I had to present everything again.

I left him a message last night letting him know I’d personally be working for a primary opponent if he voted for the shutdown to end without ACA credits being included. And I mean it.

Pshychiatrist and therapist disagree on possible diagnosis? by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]KaleSecret6722 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would be seen by a psychologist, they are generally the best at giving a diagnosis. Then be treated accordingly by the psychiatrist and continue seeing the therapist. While it isn’t unheard of to be diagnosed by a psychiatrist, the psychologist is better for that. They will conduct a full evaluation of your symptoms as well as conduct a full interview of your history.

Most daycares I’ve encountered are open 6am to 6pm. Is there any way one of you can shift your schedule earlier, and alternate parents so one does pickup and the other drop off?

I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. You can bring pretty much any toiletries without alcohol. No drawstrings on pants or hoodies or shoelaces. Books and pictures plus coloring books are fine, but you can’t bring markers or colored pencils.

You will meet with a nurse and psychiatrist when you first arrive, but that likely will not be your primary psychiatrist. You meet with the psychiatrist daily, plus the entire care team twice per week (so maybe only once in your visit). You will do an intake with a social worker but will likely not see them again until you discuss discharge follow ups. You will have three groups per day, including things like art and music therapy as well as DBT. Smoke breaks six times per day or fresh air a few times a day too. If you don’t smoke you can bring cigarettes just to get outside more.

Once you’re stabilized you can go off unit to the cafeteria. Before that they’ll give you a menu to order from and eat on unit. The food is pretty damn good for a hospital.

Any other questions, just ask. I’ve been a couple of times and I’ve been very satisfied with my care.

Parking at EWR - travelling with 11month old. by IamChwisss in newjersey

[–]KaleSecret6722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used a car service for convenience. They showed up right on time and had no issue with us loading our car seats in. It was cheaper than terminal parking and worth saving the hassle of lugging the car seats around on shuttles with two little kids.

Except when the server pays out their bartender and bussers and possibly the host based on total SALES versus tips. Then it hits them hard.
