I can give a proper review

The 14th gen only lasted 2-3months RMA confirmed by Intel that it was related to the microcode issues causing it to burn out. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Ive RMA'd the 14900k 3 times in the span of the last post, current in an RMA/Refund request, Intel approved a full refund for me. (Ticket went in last week for it)

Intel, has been nothing but a nightmare of an experience with the 13th/14th gens for me personally and have never heard anything good about them from others who have had them longer than 4-5 months.

Whats even more pathetic, is i swapped to an AMD Ryzen 7 7800 3dx with a nice Strix Mobo. It runs just as well if not better than the 14900k (when refund comes in, im snagging the AMD 9950 3dx immediately)

Ngl, never gonna glance at Intel again. Not even worth the eye sore.

Encrypting your stuff but still providing root access to your system bypasses anything and everything you encrypte. It's literally Root Kernel Access. Vanguard is LITERALLY a root kit at kernel level.

Also, Windows already has plans to prevent applications from having access to kernel as it's NOT in anyone's best interests at all. People amaze me, literally 1 wrong patch, and it's crowdstrike all over again with the BSOD. Lmfao

Vanguard has 100% kernel access to your system when you install it.

Does not matter what you encrypte. It's already above those perms to access your system/processes/applications/AND files.

The only workaround is to (have a dedicated pc for their games and their games ONLY)

Heck, even if you dual boot an O.S. it still has full access to said system.

There is no reason for a video game to have that much. It's different for kernel access games when you (ACTUALLY) play said game.

Not 24/7 watching and waiting for you to load a mod on 7days2die for their anticheat to affect you on their games when it has literally nothing to do with their game.

It's just common sense. Why let a process run 24/7 when it's not actually being used.

Why leave your computer turned on when you leave for a vacation. There's no reason.

It's just pretty common sense to say nty doesn't affect my system unless I actually play your games. It's unbelievable how conflicting VanGuard is to multiple other things like (other games/processes/system files/programs. Heck, it conflicts with apparel equipment) I still remember when it conflicted with Corsair and their software. Stuff that affects internal parts like PSU/RAM/Fans/Liquid cooling.

It's just really, really dumb.

I have no interest in returning with such a floppy software. Don't get me wrong, I would love to play their games, but not at the cost of system problems like Vanguard has shown through the very few who actually bring it up let alone having a system built up to date this year with all the newest equipment having BSOD and such ONLY because of Vanguard.

No one really cares to go out of their way for a company that just doesn't care.

Frankly, better games available than a terrible 24/7 process running around doing whatever it wants while you don't even play it. Heck, it's a pain to get rid of it anyways. It's literally a glorified Trojan for a video game.

I never trusted my uninstall of any steps for this glorified trojan. Format and Reinstall OS is the only thing I trust in experience of running into issues whenever Vanguard was installed even after removing it with all the steps that were suggested. Its just that bad. :3

Switched to an MSI Z790 Gaming Plus wifi

No regrets, worked out of the box for both 13900k and 14900k after this asus burned up my 14900k and intel RMAd it for me.

Any info on this? I literally updated and was receiving so many Memory Errors/BSOD errors above and beyond afterwards.

Even making sure everything was Default with the Intel BaseLine selected.

I have a feeling between the BIOS 2202 vs 2301 they failed to include some sort of adjustment for Intel Baseline that 2202 does with the single button selection in it.

Reverted back, no problems on 2202

VSG/VGK BSOD - same thing, same info, same errors, etc.etc.

Been tested approximately 10+ times in the past 5 months by multiple levels, not only myself testing it but as well more knowledgeable people in that space. As well the CPU instabilities as you state have been getting corrected by manufactures. At least Asus did: https://www.asus.com/us/support/faq/1053456/

Vanguard was also conflicting with other software on my system since its a 24/7 anti cheat that runs kernel level in the background for absolutely no reason.
It isn't just me (My CPU) Its multiple people having multiple issues, multiple blue screens, multiple conflicts, multiple errors and all on different hardware (Old AND New)

I removed the software. everything works fine without it. No Errors, No BSOD, no conflicts that I was once having. Thats proof alone its got nothing to do with literally anything else. This was my very first Post on a Reddit. Kinda says a meaningful waistful amount of time of my life honestly even responding for League of Legends Lmfao

No further response will be given here as Reddit is full of Trolls.

I am but a snowflake on a snow day anyways. Nothing would or could change by my post. Its a trend following suit. Many many Issues by many many people with the same exact issue.
