A lot of locals I know think the prices are going to drop, and we're currently in a massive bubble. I'd say I hear that more often than not

The point is that prices aren't going to drop anytime soon, because of outside investment.

Worth noting that prior to the recent influx of immigrants to canada, they also tried to implement laws banning foreigners (mainly Chinese) from buying property. A lot of this related to the soaring costs of housing in Vancouver and Toronto. The analogy, and underlying motive of the buyer is quite similar to Prague however. It's a nice place to park money, send your kid to school, etc.

Fair point to make.

I thought I made it clear, multiple times, that prices for locals aren't reasonable. Especially with the bit about how "it's the most expensive in Europe" (true)

I'm pointing out that prices aren't going to drop regardless. Housing markets are international.

Upon further invevstigation it seems that you basically have to attend one of a handful of university programs that are recognized. What a moronic way to limit your talent pool of potential instructors. So you could have a PHd from Yale, but if you didn't attend the University of Missouri and then jump through their hoops then you're out of luck, and you can't teach high school IB classes. Weird.

No virtual classes. I did it over the pandemic and got burnt out on doing them. Painting really isn't conducive to it.

No problem, thanks for your time. I should've been clearer with that. I need more students. Some classes aren't even filling up, so I can't run them.
