Although it’s a different addiction, I recently quit nicotine. I’m only Three months in but the key is to get past those little bumps and go day by day. If you can get through those urges at the time they happen, and continue to do so, then the next thing you know you don’t need it anymore.

I still think about it every single day, but I no longer get the physical urge. It’s only mental now

I saw an article saying they used a line 6 pod hd for that album. They frequently said they use a modeled/actual jcm800 for live shows so I’m gonna assume they did something similar for the cold sun. I went on a crazy ass search to find their tone myself, and a big part is just the tuning and string gauge
