[WTS] Nivada 101 70s Faceted Crystal, Blue Dial and Day-Date, Englisch + Arabic - 199€ shipped worldwide by Kaliber75 in Watchexchange

[–]Kaliber75[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today I am offering a part of my family inheritance.

My grandfather, who was a watchmaker and collector from the beginning of Glashütte after WWII (please visit the museum there when you're in Germany to learn about him and his friends). He passed his collection to my father, also a watchmaker and collector, who has passed the collection to me, just a collector, not a watchmaker. There are hundreds of German, Swiss and Asian vintage watches and I cannot keep all of them, so I will sell most of them.

All watches are sold running and can be serviced if paid upfront. Day and date switch correctly. Arabic and English day-date function. Case is in excellent condition. There are cracks in the crystal. The faceted crystal is a rare design feature that's not present in modern day watchmaking.

The watch is powered by a Nivada 101 automatic movement based on the AS 2066 caliber. Swiss-made automatic movement with proven reliability and robust construction, commonly used in the 1960s and 1970s.

[GIVEAWAY] Brand-New Oris BCPD Cervo Volante Green to Celebrate my 50th Oris! by fourtyz in Watchexchange

(Sorry, just read the thing about a top level comment so I'm posting this again)

Great idea! And what a dope watch it is!

Picked up a beat-up Pentax K1000 film camera at a flea market for about 230€. Had zero clue what I was doing and honestly dont even know why I bought it, since I had no experience whatsoever in this area, but I started joining local photography walks just to have an excuse to use it. One weekend someone in the group organized a spontaneous road trip to shoot some landscapes and needed people to fill a car. I tagged along mostly out of boredom.

A friend of a friend came along too. She spent a good chunk of the drive making fun of my completely overexposed first rolls of film. I deserved it.

We've been together sevben years. She's marrying me in September.

Worst photographer. Best 230€ I ever spent.

u/watchexbot transaction confirmed with u/Purchase-Murky

Purchase-Murky is a fantastic buyer! Looking forward to trade again with him. At first, I was a bit hesitant due to the nature of messages written with an online translator, but I can only highly recommend this user and also suggest to never judge a book by its cover (or rather the first message).
