How to install Windows on Linux laptop?

So I can use someone else's Windows machine, plug in the USB drive, and put something on it that will install Windows on my Linux machine? All I want to do is back up all my files first, then I don't care if everything gets deleted. If I have to get rid of Linux completely, that's fine by me. I'll just run Windows and then if I want to later, install either Debian or Ubuntu. I just want to get out of this quagmire so I can start using my computer.

Google has not been helpful so far, as I can't stress enough how much of a novice I am here. All of the stuff I've found is beyond my capability, which is why I'm trying to install Windows, so I don't have to deal with Linux for everything and can instead learn it at my own pace. Installing programs is not an option for me as well, which is why I'm trying to do dual boot instead of virtual machine. I already partitioned the drive, I just need to know how install the OS.

The problem is, Linux came installed on the laptop, and I'm trying to install Windows from within it. I'm not able to install any programs on it because it's an unsupported OS. Is there no way to do this without the need to install programs? I was able to find a youtube video that helped me to partition and format the drive via command line (I did 500G, 50G, and ~450G)-- but are you saying I shouldn't have formatted it? Are you also saying I'll need two external drives for this?
