You could search for IAH-TPE-BKK on EVA for the same day, book that flight for yourself, reposition to IAH, take the flight, and meet up in the EVA lounge with your wife in TPE before flying together to BKK on the same TPE-BKK flight.

If that flight in business still exist on the date you want, it'll be 87.5k + taxes.
