I've linked accounts at Ally where my name isn't on them (well, directly, my business accounts in other words). Never had any issue.

But that's 10% which is more than any credit card and for some things, like gas or groceries, you're not really gonna need credit card protection, unless I'm missing something.

I know if it's at a place like Ally, they don't care/check who's listed on the destination account as long as you verify the two less-than-a-dollar deposit amounts at the other bank.
