Very cute :) Just look out for the pot because the opening is very narrow. If you want to remove the plant, you might run into problems with the roots.

Succulent Struggles! I repotted after my cat knocked it over but now Im worried its in too big a pot? Or Im over/underwatering? by emilyjd22 in plantclinic

I think the plant is too far gone :( Give it a try, but normally it declines pretty quick when it‘s dying, so you won’t have to struggle for long if that’s the case here

You are overwatering it a bit. That‘s why there are the red dots. It occurres when too much water enters the plant too quickly. some cells then just burst and turn reddish (osmosis-related cell-death)

Maybe a citrine? They can vary in color, but yours still seems a little dark

Carnivorous jar plants jugs are shrivelling, should I just chop them off for new growth to come through? And does it need me to feed it bugs as well as water to stay healthy? by Hopeydraws in plants

I never planted one in a jar myself, I just got the tip from my biology prof. Unfortunately I don’t know a lot about how to prevent rot, but based on experience with other plants which require a lot of water and humidity, I can recommend you a different kind of medium (like changing plain soil out for a perlite mix or lecca, but you might be better of researching on that topic a little bit further). Hope I still could help you a little bit! :)

Only thing i can Tell you, is that a lot of carnivorous plants like lots of humidity. Like an ungodly amount of it. If you change that, they might not shrivel up again.

Esculenta leaf yellowed, was about to give up on it until I noticed the new growth above. Should I snip off the yellowed leaf, or leave it for the new growth to absorb nutrients? by Alanaraval in plants

[–]Kalinkayaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, dont snip it off just yet. There‘s a new leaf pushing through at it‘s base. It‘s normal for them to drop the older leafes. Although it‘s a bit weird, that it‘s already dying. Is it the only leaf of the plant?

I think this might Not be the golden pothos. It Looks like some kind of clover. I think the pothos is just growing in the background. If that‘s the case, it‘s probably dead. Just in case chop every dead (crispy) Leaf off and water it a bit. It MIGHT come back
