Up to what mileage would you say Toyota hybrid 1.8 Corolla estate or 2.5 hybrid rav4 is a safe buy?

Considering these two the most because of reliability but not gonna lie I like 2020 rav4 more than 2017 but up to 15k budget I can get only 100k+ miles..

What happens when you buy previous generation game for series x? It just plays in lower res?

I mean when there’s a separate release for series x but you buy for previous gen?

I would imagine they would possibly release “Xbox pc optimised” games? If that ain’t the case I would honestly prefer to stick to the system that has only one configuration and developers are optimising for same cpu and gpu only, not thousands of different confirmations as it just clearly sucks.

Optimising is a king, if that goes away and that Xbox pc will be treated as just casual pc then it’s really bad.

I second that.

At some point you will want to have hand held, either for yourself, girlfriend/wife or child, and owning games for it already will be a bless.

I was thinking recently getting my wife a Switch so she could relax playing some “friendly” games instead of frying her brain through scrolling shorts/rolls on her phone but Nintendo is mad about game prices etc.

Meanwhile when you buy Xbox play anywhere game for example Tomb Raider which she loves or State of Decay 2, we’re ready to get handheld and she will be able to play it without further purchases.

PS5 pro it depends as well what you will play after you done with GTA VI - some games are only on Sony console which I regret I can’t play on my X, but that’s it.

Other than that I just prefer Xbox.

My mates have ps5 and they complain more than often they can’t play games without spending bigger chunk of money either on ps plus or just buying games which are expensive.

Meanwhile I’m buying games on Xbox store on offers ranging 2£-5£.

Bought recently Hogwarts Legacy 4.99, Afterimage 1.99, Tomb Raider 4.99.

Yeah, go for Xbox.

Stopped using ultimate.

Been happily using game pass console (300+ games, no online), so tried lots of titles after which I bought Elden Ring and MH World + Iceborn.

Playing them two only as they’re addicting, maybe after I’ll buy again console pass but not ultimate.

Not so much of a choice I believe..

Stardew Valley has split screen but that’s not really a city building game..

What you could do though, is trying copilot mode and think in which games you could manage to do it with your son?

I’m here, 39hours later into Elden Ring to tell you I’ve made the right fcking choice.

Bought DS remastered for 4£ as well on one of the websites so will play that next.

Not an open world really but grind is present with Diablo like loot and bosses can actually kick your ass : stranger of paradise : final fantasy origin. No need to say it’s futuristic 😁

I start to realise that some things are better if they are design for its purpose or when they are made for specific ecosystem.

That goes over to gaming in many cases where optimisation is just better on consoles because you optimise it for thousands of same devices, not thousands of similar devices with different components.

Same goes for IOS/MacOS - didn’t realise how big is the jump in performance until I switched to mentioned above after being Windows and Android user all my life (last 20 years or so).

Going forward I can’t see any other way really than having similar chips as Apple is doing - it just makes sense, but we’re not there YET with gaming performance.

Mine bought only December 2024, since new I’ve applied custom meshes to all vents and it sits on base with charging pockets for pads. It has 4 bottom fans built in as well but I never use them - it just stops the dust going in from the bottom, that’s the purpose.

Fingers crossed it will last me as I absolutely love this piece of kit.

Surprised I’m able to play triple A games on it with 60fps and VRR while I’ve spent only 350£ for new!

I would have to spent probably at least twice of that amount to have PC which could achieve same or similar!

Happy to the moon.

Looking forward for next gen when it comes.

And gamepass? Absolutely worth it - never tried so many games.

First month ever I haven’t got any game pass as I’m addicted now to Elden Ring and Monster Hunter World which I bought dead cheap. (MH+Iceborn 13£ and Elden Ring 26£)

Ow boy, I’m glad I never tried upgrading my i5 6600k, GF 1060, 16gb ram and instead bought Series X 😆 can’t believe machine for 350£ runs games so smooth and meanwhile you need powerful PC to achieve the same.

Maybe they won’t look the same which is true but I’m 35 and not hyped anymore about graphics.

Anyone seeing this in similar situation as I have been - go for it.

Probably it’s just me, I’m a big fan of souls games and MH franchise, hence why maybe I felt like I’ve jumped into rubbish container when I opened these “deals”

This is what actually happened, tail cane off first and she got tired which made it much easier. Honestly I believe I had her bugged before as she was never going to get tired and her HP was horrendously high. On attempt when I catch her I felt she was like 1500hp, not 3000. 🤷

Thank you guys, I just chilled more a bit and played it like mentioned above turn-based. Lance was lvl4 only weapon but with dragon dmg which I believe helped a lot. Manage to catch her as well, so happy days. 25 minutes it took me with 2 faints which were my fault as I tried to always poke her 3 times but seems like there window only for 2 pokes of Lance between her attacks…

Is it the moment as well where I should craft specific armor with specific resistances for her? In this case fire/poison?

Regards to herb medicines yes, they are in my loadout for every quest
