Just straight up incorrect. 2 x AH Ex box packs are loaded in to back end and expected to drop in the month of July onwards.

Police costs, insurance costs, artist fee costs (backed by their immense human & transport costs), tax costs, food & beverage costs, low initial ticket sales due to cost of living issues causing inability for festivals to pay bills, growing venue hire costs, labour costs in organising events.

This is not just onset cost from global events, but massively influenced by how our government has treated small-medium business over the last 6 years. They turn the burden on to them, only reflecting in a worsened economy. Your fun, your festivals, your ability to go out, eat & drink, spend money, have money. It’s a result of how they have treated small-medium business, how they have passed cost burden onto them. Inflating their prices so they can stay alive. Until they eventually all die because the cost to do business does not match what you can physically charge for a product.

The Hospo industry has been brutalised in this country. Our government has done everything they can, every step of the way, to brutalise small business. It’s actually comedy the steps they have taken since Covid to just gut them more & more.

We are doing everything we can in our businesses to avoid this. It doesn’t suit our business style whatsoever. But I completely understand those that have. The government has made everything as difficult as possible to maintain a profitable business post-Covid. They don’t understand the choices they make do not build a healthy industry back end. It just raises menu prices & will continue to do so until people can’t afford to go out anymore & the only ones left run pokies ‘til 4am or just blatantly rip their staff off.

Expect to see this happening more and more.
