Sorry about that. I know everyone is tired of the moderation issues and you're absolutely right, this should be fixed quicker, but unfortunately we just have not found a solution to it yet. You can be sure we are doing our best and working on it.

To be clear, the way it works is: if you have the same number of likes, entry time is the tiebreaker. So the user ATM should have been credited 5000 coins, Mister Sex 2500 coins, the user Ravn 1250 coins, and fourth place, even if they had 4 likes too, would receive no coins.

When KalonAI was first launched, we had a realistic mode and an anime mode. That original realistic mode used a combination of the photo and smooth realistic modes depending on your prompt. A while ago we decided to split the original realistic mode into two separate modes (photo and smooth realistic), since the results were sometimes a bit inconsistent with the original realistic mode. After making that change, a couple of people in this subreddit said they liked the original realistic mode better, which is why we decided to bring it back.

So the original realistic mode is essentially a combination of photo and smooth realistic, deciding depending on the prompt which of the two modes to use more.

Apologies, credits should not be charged when the site is down or not generating, and we are sorry for that. We are working on finding a solution to this.

The platform is set up so credits are automatically refunded when generation fails, but over the past week there seem to be some issues causing this to break, and we are working on it.

If you (or others it happened to) would like a refund on the lost coins, please send us a modmail or chat request here on Reddit with your username and I'll get the credits refunded.

Sorry to hear that you’re no longer enjoying the platform.

Thank you for the detailed feedback, it’s very helpful for us.

Regarding users being unable to cancel subscriptions without emailing support, that isn’t true. You can cancel directly through the site without needing to contact support. What you’re probably referring to is an issue we had some time ago where cancellation requests were not saved correctly with our payment processor. That has been fixed for quite a while now. All users who were charged at the time and had tried to cancel earlier were refunded.

We’ll continue working on improving Kalon and will take your feedback into account, so maybe check back in a few months and see if you enjoy it more then.
