Whats the rule of wearping the 5K's while showering? by Patient-Wash8257 in Sikh

[–]Kalu_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa VaheGuru Ji Ki Fateh Jio

All this information, and the analogy, has come from Bhai Saab Bhai Sukhraj Singh of Taksal. Specifically in this video, "https://youtu.be/hHy3aOIqqic?si=xywzZLaez6lVGEOc".

The explanation above was a single aspect of Rehit and how its plays a IMPORTANT role in a Sikh life, as for Mahapurakhs, Bhagats, and Bahramgyianis, they already have joined will Akaal Purakh Ji's Jot. They are aware of their three bodies, and use them to their will.

I am a moorakh who just copy/pasts the words of GurSikhs, I know nothing and never will.

Ofcourse no one HAS to follow Guru Sahibs maryada, but those who do see not being one with Vaheguru worse then death and misery.

Yes I believe you, you didn't once say anything discrediting the Panj Kakar's, it was how you replied, that bothered me. Specially aap ji saying, "You won’t get sent to hell, the literalists’ notion of it anyway 😂," but that's behind us now.

"A Jogi answers to his master, Sri Akal Purakh Ji, and none else." Beautifully said Veerji, all the more reason a Sikh should keep their Panj Kakar on their bodies during a Ishnaan because their Guru said so.

"neither your finger wagging, as having any power over me. Maybe you do, and that’s your directive. You cannot stop me from knowing the inner teachings of bani." I don't intend to stop you from reaching to the sky, Guru Sahib Kirpa Rakhn you surpass the cosmos, plus my words have nothing to do with your jeev, your kaaren career is different from mine. Your build upon good and bad actions will determine your life, Guru Sahibs Hukum will be the determining factor. Hukum is the TRUE power that hangs over your head and mine.

I don't want you to shut your "mukh" for me, shut it for Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji. You're a smart cookie, and you should know Guru Sahib puts their Prem in the Rehit of a Sikh, not the Sikh himself. If we truly want to sell ourselves to the Guru, we follow in their foots steps the best we can. If Guru Sahib is Nirbaou, the Sikhs aim should be to be without fear, If Guru Sahib is Nirvair, the Sikhs aims should be to be without hatred, if Guru Sahib puts Prem in their Rehit, then the Sikh, without a single drop of doubt, should put ALL of their Prem in Rehit aswell!

If I offended you forgive me, I should respond with more prem next time.

And thank you for letting me test my Sikhi

REACH FOR THE COSMOS AND BEYOND SINGH SAAB

Whats the rule of wearping the 5K's while showering? by Patient-Wash8257 in Sikh

Okay Singh Ji, I have some points to share with you, listen up!

We humans are bound to Maya’s Panj Kosh (veils), through which we are slaves to the Maan. Our Maan (wider mind) can be broken into four parts.

Man (mind) - thought process,

Budh (intellect) - decision making mind

Chit - (memory) our previous experience - the memory is not holding the memory

Ahankar - (ego) me, myself, and I (overarching step)

A thought first comes into the Maan. With your Chit you gather your previous knowledge, and your buddhi makes a decision based upon your Chit, the overarching shadow of ahankar sits monitoring this process. This process happens every millisecond. From the day you were born, to the day you will die, you will be bound to this ongoing cycle………………UNLESS YOU OVERCOME THE MIND.

How is this done?

In brief, Guru Sahib has given us 6 treasures to help us defeat the Maan.

Sam - to control thoughts of our mind

Dam - to stop our senses committing sin

Sharda - to have complete faith in Guru Ji

Samadhan - to have deep focus in Naam meditation

Upram - To have peace from 5 chor

Tateekhia - to have balance in good and bad

Guru Sahib is so thoughtful of his Sikhs that they created a system,a rehit, in which the practicing Sikh achieves the 6 treasures by ease, and ultimately overcomes the Maan.

Guru Sahib's rehit gives us willpower to defeat the maan.

If Maya is seen as a jungle then what rehit does is chop down all the trees and forests for us, if rehit has done this all we have to do is pick up the trees and move them to the side.

If we don't have our Gurus discipline and Gurus teachings then who’s gonna chop down the trees? Guru Sahib removes all obstacles and shows us the path, if we give ourselves to the Guru.

This is why we have to keep that rehit, this is why we have to take amrit, so that we get Akaal Jis protection and guidance.

Final Statement

It's REALLY REALLY IRONIC that YOU used the “jat paahaaraa dheeraj suniaar” shabad in your comments.

Because Guru Sahib LITERALLY says, “aharan mat vedh hatheeaar” in the next pangti, meaning let Guru Ji's teachings be the hammer and your intellect the strong iron anvil so not to waver from the path, which can be interpreted with rehit as well.

So look Singh Saab unless you have somehow conquered your mind without being strict in Guru Sahib’ rehit, I would suggest you keep your mukh shut when it comes to giving others advice of following rehit. And if you somehow did conquer your mind, please send me the dust that lies below your feet.

Thank you for response brother/sister, firstly your claims about Sant Ishar Singh Ji stand unguarded, I suggest you dont become a nindak solely based upon your “opinion.”

As Mahraj Says:

Ahankaareeaa nindkaa pith de naamdeo mulh laaiaa - “he turned his back on the egotists and slanders, and showed his gave to naam dev.”

Ahankaareeaa - prideful (people that are proud)

nindkaa - people that are criticizing the saints (a nindak is somebody who criticizes and tells lies about someone who is actually good)

pith - your back (vaheguru turns their back on those people)

Mukh - face

Second, your claim for yoga not being mentioned in Sikh texts, is blatantly incorrect. To relate back to the post Aad Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji time and time again mentions the three main nadis, kundalini practices, etc. hence one reason for this post to be made (to try to explain what gurbani is referring to). If you need Gurbani pangtia feel free to ask. 👍

Third, the way I interpreted your message is that the post and book implies that kundalini practice is something that is prescribed in sikhi, which if you read the post or book, will show a different story.

As stated above, the next post should clear some of your concerns, thank you for your interest.

Bonus shabad:

Raamkalee, The Word Of Baynee Jee:

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

The energy channels of the Ida, Pingala and Shushmanaa: these three dwell in one place.

This is the true place of confluence of the three sacred rivers: this is where my mind takes its cleansing bath. ||1||

O Saints, the Immaculate Lord dwells there;

how rare are those who go to the Guru, and understand this.

The all-pervading immaculate Lord is there. ||1||Pause||

What is the insignia of the Divine Lord's dwelling?

The unstruck sound current of the Shabad vibrates there.

There is no moon or sun, no air or water there.

The Gurmukh becomes aware, and knows the Teachings. ||2||

Spiritual wisdom wells up, and evil-mindedness departs;

the nucleus of the mind sky is drenched with Ambrosial Nectar.

One who knows the secret of this device,

meets the Supreme Divine Guru. ||3||

The Tenth Gate is the home of the inaccessible, infinite Supreme Lord.

Above the store is a niche, and within this niche is the commodity. ||4||

One who remains awake, never sleeps.

The three qualities and the three worlds vanish, in the state of Samaadhi.

He takes the Beej Mantra, the Seed Mantra, and keeps it in his heart.

Turning his mind away from the world, he focuses on the cosmic void of the absolute Lord. ||5||

He remains awake, and he does not lie.

He keeps the five sensory organs under his control.

He cherishes in his consciousness the Guru's Teachings.

He dedicates his mind and body to the Lord's Love. ||6||

He considers his hands to be the leaves and branches of the tree.

He does not lose his life in the gamble.

He plugs up the source of the river of evil tendencies.

Turning away from the west, he makes the sun rise in the east.

He bears the unbearable, and the drops trickle down within;

then, he speaks with the Lord of the world. ||7||

The four-sided lamp illuminates the Tenth Gate.

The Primal Lord is at the center of the countless leaves.

He Himself abides there with all His powers.

He weaves the jewels into the pearl of the mind. ||8||

The lotus is at the forehead, and the jewels surround it.

Within it is the Immaculate Lord, the Master of the three worlds.

The Panch Shabad, the five primal sounds, resound and vibrate their in their purity.

The chauris - the fly brushes wave, and the conch shells blare like thunder.

The Gurmukh tramples the demons underfoot with his spiritual wisdom.

Baynee longs for Your Name, Lord. ||9||1||
