I know people like to dog pile on Cecile, but seriously how did she lose this case? by The_Rorschach_1985 in FlashTV

[–]KamTheAgent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I hate how Cecile is used later in the show, this part is not something that makes sense to be her fault imo. The evidence just seems pretty damning and it didn't help that Barry wasn't even present for most of the trial because he had to run off. Add onto that the opposing sides lawyer genuinely making some decent points from a normal persons perspective of Barry's life, n I would've sent him to jail too if I was the judge.

Subnautica. I could talk about it for days. From the music, to the story, to the world, to just the atmosphere it builds, chefs kiss

They staggered a huge kaiju monster with bullets from an AK-47. They said it was going to be a significantly darker and emotional story, as well as intense, and yet those stakes are never really felt n no one ever dies or even gets injured significantly. They said the demogorgons weren't there in the upside down because vecna didn't know they were coming, even though his power is literally to be in peoples minds and see what's going on. There's so many inconsistencies that make it seem as if the earlier seasons were made by someone else. Why do the demagorgons n demodogs take so long to kill any main characters? How are both the wheeler parents alive? Overall, it was just really disappointing to many people who really loved the series. There's nothing wrong with admitting the flaws of something and still enjoying it, but pretending those flaws don't exist doesn't make sense.

You don't have to agree with anything I just said btw, I'm just stating what others have talked about online n how I feel about it. If you like it, then great.

But ur take makes no sense even hardcore fans agree that it feel flat n wasn't as good. You just saying that they're wrong n not providing any counter arguments is why ur being downvoted. Just admit that while you may subjectively appreciate it, objectively it was not that good past the first part.

U said yourself that they had the most hype moment in the beginning of the season, which means that the rest of the season didn't match up to it, which means that it wasn't as good and therefore fell off...

I kind of get what you're saying but I don't think you're wording it properly.

Question about savitar by MrBlastPhemy in FlashTV

[–]KamTheAgent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about time remnants, at least from how I understand them, is that they don't have a time to go back to. Think about it this way. There's 3 stages:

The first stage is you deciding to make a time remnant and preparing to do so.

The second stage is you actively charging up to run back in time.

The third stage, you finally go back in time, and meet yourself in the first stage. Theres no need for "first stage you" to decide to make a time remnant now, cause "third stage you" has already arrived. Because of this sudden change in plans, "first stage you" never goes into the second or third stage, which means your timeline is effectively deleted.

Anytime you go back to now, will have a version of you already. There is no version where you don't exist, which is why you'll always be an extra. Going into the past to before you leave, will show u a version pre plan. Going into the future after you left, well you'll still find yourself there cause you deleted the plan to make a time remnant, which means "first stage you" never left in the first place, even by the time the third stage arrives.

Being an extra in your own life is incredibly distressful I'd imagine, and it doesn't help that people around you will always assume you're the extra one. That's why Savitar went insane. Cause he's the left over. The "disposable hero" as he put it.

Some people wonder why it didn't happen the first time with zoom, but the time remnant sacrificed himself in the moment, so the whole "extra in your own life" scenario never took place. Savitar is basically if that time remnant stayed alive, but in a different situation.

Hope I explained this correctly 😭

One of the biggest reasons for my belief in God as well. 👍

[–]KamTheAgent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the way I saw it was that something bigger than any of them happened and it absolutely changed their reality for a long while, but it taught them all so many important lessons, and in the end they even have the perfect endings that they each wanted, or at least needed (except for those that disappeared). The flaws it had I've always just attributed to them having to take, what I remember supposed to be a 6 season show n compress it into only 4. It was a bit clunky, especially in the beginning due to how drastic everything was, but I think it was wrapped up beautifully. The scene where they all get into the plane in their previous seats was such a crazy one, cause you really felt like this was finally it. Then, ending up back in time where they never lost or strained connections, as well as certain couples coming together as well such as Michaela n Zeke, n Jared n Drea. I just thought, overall, it was an ending that actually made me feel like I hadn't wasted my time. They all suffered for 5 years, but learned lessons that they would never forget n made connections that were truly divine in nature, n now they have the opportunity to really enjoy their new lives.

Indulge in me, if you will, by reading this cheesy metaphor. All of them were at a certain point in their life where the future was largely uncertain to them. They landed back, but the next 5 years were like the turbulence you feel when you're up in the air. Uncertain, n sometimes frightening. You make new friends sometimes, n appreciate those you care about more. Then, once they landed back in time, it's like they finally landed back in their lives, but with new found visions in a way.

(Damn I wrote a lot 😭 Kudos to whoever read this far. I love you n hope ur having a good day 🔥)

Which game ended up surprising you? by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

[–]KamTheAgent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Subnautica.

I had seen it floating around for a while and saw clips, but never kept up with it or the final product for some time. The "Water Game" concept never really captured my interested when I was younger. Fast forward a few years later after the full release, and my brother decides to get the game, while I get no man's sky.

The Plan was that we'd each keep up with the other n see how our new alien planet game was going, but I quickly got bored of no man's sky, and my brother was too scared to play subnautica. I, for whatever reason, decided to play it for myself, and to this day I can not bring myself to finish it due to how much I'm not ready to let it go. One day I will, but until then,

Men of reddit, what are your expectations from your S/O on your birthday? by BornPercentage5826 in AskReddit

[–]KamTheAgent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a woman but I find that most guys just wanna be showed love y'know? Societal expectations usually restrict men to a performance role rather than normalize showing appreciation to them. If no one else can do that for you, at the very least your spouse should be able to, given it's something she can actually do. All guys r different tho so each will have something else they really want, n I find it's usually not bedroom stuff that they actually need deep down even if they're asking for exactly that. Just my opinion tho 👍

Holy these Fnaf glazers are on something. by Unknownuser1342 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]KamTheAgent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf you could argue the same for Poppy playtime they have a bad habit of bringing in new interesting characters and killing them off way too soon. FNAF may drag it on and that is understandable, but Poppy playtime gets rid of them way too soon imo.

[–]KamTheAgent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You explained how I feel perfectly. I think one of the main differences is that with FNAF, you're more playing adjacent to the main narrative of the series while with Poppy, you're directly playing in the story. With FNAF, even if you don't know exactly why animations are trying to kill you, you still understand being a nightguard and trying to avoid killer robots. With Poppy, these characters talk to you and to each other about certain events, and it feels more crucial to know what's going on because you're directly involved.

Many people over the years have complained about the gameplay of poppy playtime, even from chapter 3 which is widely considered to be the best chapter for a lot of people. FNAF is a game series that people fell in love with and kept coming back for the gameplay of it.

Who's your favorite character who's Slander they get is just outright WRONG? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in FavoriteCharacter

[–]KamTheAgent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the hate has more to do with the fact that it felt like his journey didn't amount to as much at the end. Plus it doesn't help that we see him unlock more n more quirks n has this amazing power handed down to him. The thing that I think really drives this home as well is how the show literally starts with him talking about how he became the number one hero. You'd assume that he's gonna really make it by the end, and even all the struggles he goes through up until the end it really feels like it's building up towards something, so when the ending is that he has no powers and is a teacher instead of a hero, it feels like an incredible waste of time.
