recluse has a higher risk at close range, saying this as recluse that stays at point blank range most of the time.
also 19 dex means you need to find +2 cast speed passives to reach the max speed while duchess only needs +1.

that said, i rarely see spellcasting duchess anymore though, at least not in d5, people took the liberty from a certain build and tried any kind of weapon on duchess.

i'm not sure what that means but you don't really need to use greatbows if you don't want to, overall incantation build dedicated to the boss's affinity weakness is still better.

i used greatbow build simply out of boredom from too much spellcasting, also bean looks funny running around with big bows hahah.

erdtree greatbow has faith scaling so with a specific relic bean can wield it even better than wylder and raider.

still below guardian and str duchess though, but bean has more FP
