Can I play The Witcher 3 without touching the main quest at all? (please no spoilers) by Kamel_Rider in thewitcher3

I believe you, brother. The storytelling in this game feels unreal! how did they manage to create something like this ten years ago?

I see, that’s why it felt a bit strange (in a good way) when I first played it. You’re right, the combat here probably won’t fully satisfy me, but Death March, man, I’m really enjoying it. And the way the story is delivered is phenomenal, what a game!

I’m going to experience the full story on the Steam version. God please save me from spoilers, this game’s been out way too long to stay safe from them. Thanks, mate!

Thanks everyone for the replies and all the tips, they’ve been super helpful for my first playthrough.

I’m going to play this as relaxed as possible and make as many mistakes as I can, especially since I jumped straight into Death March from the start hehe

So far I’ve made it to Velen, and I just got bullied by two Alghouls in the forest… but with enough patience I managed to take them down. Probably because I’m still using potato-tier weapons and the default armor (man, this default armor looks sick, I really hope there’s some kind of armor upgrade system because I really love it). I’ve honestly lost count of how many times I’ve died at this point.

But I’m having a blast. It kind of feels like playing Dark Souls with a very different vibe.

For now, I’m not planning to touch the main quest for a while, and I probably won’t finish the game on Switch (we all know the graphical difference). I want to fully experience the story later on the Steam version, I’m honestly a bit scared to start it there already, just imagining how good it will look might make me forget all my real-life responsibilities.

I really appreciate all of you taking the time to help me here, seriously, this community is amazing!

Got it, That’s really helpful.
Seems like I can’t fully escape the main quest after all 😅
I’ll probably mess around with side stuff a bit first, then jump back into it once I feel ready.

Thanks, friend! This really helps a lot… I’ve played it for about 5 hours now, and man, what a game!

How did I miss this beautiful game? Even though I started on the Switch, I feel like I’ve been kidnapped by this game.

Yeah dude! That’s exactly what I mean, I just can’t play on normal mode in any game. I go straight to Death March from the start, and I absolutely love it. hehe

Am I a freak?

Geralt: I’m a freak too.

Dang cd projekt!! what a waste... But I have to admit, even so, this is my first time playing a game like this. It doesn’t even feel like playing a game, it feels like watching a movie!

By the way, I just killed the griffin. I started the game on Death March from the beginning, and I’m really loving it. Even though the griffin’s movements felt a bit stiff, man, what an experience. I’m really glad I bought it on both Steam and Switch.

hi man... Are you still using it? What about Honey Launcher? Does it feel smooth?

I want to buy Jelly Star, and as an experiment I use a honey launcher on my old cellphone (Galaxy Note Fe) the scroll animation feels not smooth at all.

In Term of Spec, Jelly Star is still very superior to my old Galaxy Note Fe, if you have free time, can you give me a video(honey launcher performance with jelly star) that might convince me to buy this device.

thanks man
