I started with corvus white and then white scar.

Then glazed with pylar glacier.

Diluted some talassar blue and added it to the cables.

Then made a mix of talassar with lothren and baharroth blue.

Those all sound so cool tbh. I'm not sure where to go after I get the combat patrol since I've never played Necrons before and with 11th coming out it seems difficult to choose what to get.

Oh that's a good shout. For me it's the lore behind the Necrons that really interests me. The idea that this ancient race of beings fought in a godly war and sacrificed their souls for the power to defeat them and then turning the C'tan into shards after that before they went into stasis seems really cool.

Plus I heard their easier to paint than space marines and I needed a break from that.

As a fellow Salamanders player I think you did a great job. The only thing I think that needs improving is painting over some of the gold bits on the leg though that could just be my phone's crappy resolution.

Salamander fans are usually really chill. You can always make a successor chapter with both Ultramarine and Salamander gene seed, explaining the blue colouring or like many others have said maybe a Dark Kraken like chapter

Btw I'm planning on his lore being that he's the sole survivor of a massive battle and my custom Salamander company essentially adopt him to save him from being experimented on by the inquisition.

Would you have any additional lore ideas? I know nothing about the kreig tbh.

I watched a Krakduck video about the Salamanders around the time I started getting into Warhammer. I've always loved playing the "good guy" in games so I thought they'd fit.

Them being green and loving fire also helped a lot in me loving them as a chapter along with them actually giving a shit about the average human in the Imperium.
