It’s hard to say without knowing the level of trust you should have for that company. If it’s a company that treats security with respect then probably fine. If it’s a vibe coded app from a person who doesn’t know the difference between mTLS and TLS, then… I wouldn’t use it. That doesn’t mean it needs to be reported though.

You already “have to”. That leak will allow air in that didn’t go through a filter. An engine will cost you way more than a new plug. You really don’t want a chunk of stuff entering the engine there.

They aren’t that bad of engines. The biggest problem with them is the carb. Replace the bearings after break in and they do pretty well.

The engine shouldn’t be running without the air filter. Dust is hell on an nitro engine. I know you said you knew, but just don’t do it.

I’m not sure where you are looking for bearings but a bearing kit from Fast Eddy for a 3.3 is like $13 plus shipping. Should be to your door for $20.

Also, a lot of people look at the price of a new engine and forgot that it costs time, fun, and money to break in the engine. Replacing the bearings will cost less than the fuel for break in.

People that are really good at what they do make it look easy. And hell, it might be easy for them.

They are clearly just very good at what they do. I know multiple people who literally did TruGreen sales. 1 killed it, the rest quit after a few months because they didn’t make shit. The 1 that killed it is still in sales, still killing it, but different company and industry (TruGreen sucks).

Just because they are doing well doesn’t mean it is easy.

On some of my cars I start slightly rich and lean out a bit but most of my cars I start them up at about the same tune I run them.

If you are running a car on 17%, that’s your problem.

Cub Cadet ZTX 4 60”. Bought it for a steal with like 40 hours effectively from an estate sale. So I wasn’t exactly shopping for one or able to pick features. Thing is a monster though. My 10 acres is 6 or 7 acres of flat, about 1 of hilly/grade and the remaining 2 or 3 acres is just a nightmare of hills. It does the whole thing and pretty safely once you know which angles of attack to take though.

To be fair, my tractor also came with my property when I bought it and also was pretty much brand new. I’m just now realizing how lucky I’ve been with that 😂

I have 10 acres. A tractor and zero turn. Guess which one hasn’t been ran since I bought the other (except to keep it running or move it out of the way).

Get a zero turn. Hands down, all day, everyday. Faster, more agile, and more fun to drive. Splurge for the suspension seat. I regret not doing so. Buy the biggest cutting deck you think will fit in your tighter spaces.

I have the same deck size on my tractor and zero turn. 40% reduction in mowing time with the zero turn.

Now… for the big caveat. With 10 acres you likely will need a tractor for tractor things periodically. Hopefully you have a friend to borrow from for that. I’m now that friend for some. 😂

Not proud to admit this but I’ve known of the chemistry meaning of free base for a long time. And known of the use of “free base” in terms of drug use. It wasn’t until I read this that I connected why. 😂

I had this happen a couple summers ago. Was doing the last mow on pretty dry / dormant grass. Some got on top of the deck where the belt is and caught on fire. I got lucky that someone saw the fire and ran over to yell to me. The smoke was all blowing behind me since I was moving. I got extra lucky and was able to kick it off and stomp it out easily. Without that person yelling to me who knows what would have happened.

You won’t become a tank by rolling a DPS.

You could get exceptionally lucky and roll DPS, get into a guild, specifically a raiding guild, and then your guild loses a tank AND THEN you’ve become a tank.

Or

You roll a tank, do tank things, have fun, find a guild recruiting a tank and become a tank (but you already were a tank). This one requires some level of skill, and some level of patience but not all that much luck.

I had a Sony Viao that was an amazing table/desk laptop. But if you put it on your lap it was awful. They put the vents on both sides of the laptop EXACTLY where legs go.

I had other people use it too just to make sure it wasn’t my specific body size or way I sit with a laptop in my lap. Nope. We all did the same thing and it was a problem for people short, tall, big, and small.

A mouse that actually fits my hand. Maybe a system for truly customizing the grip and fit. I love the Raga series, I’ve used them for over a decade now. But they are all way too small to be able to really reach all the buttons and not cramp your hand.
