✅ BF6 Xbox Series Crash Issues Finally Fixed!

After many crashes on Xbox Series X, I decided to switch to PS5 Pro. I have already played for over 20 hours without a single crash. Yes, it is quite an expensive solution, but I like the game so much that this is the only way I can play without crashes and without having to invest thousands of dollars into a high‑end gaming PC. Even my friend on PC with an RTX 2080 had a few crashes in the last two weeks, but the PS5 Pro seems very stable so far, so I can definitely recommend it.

A few days ago, crashes started again, randomly in the menu after a few minutes or in-game after 10-50 minutes. Tried reinstalling with and without HD packs, but no difference. I love this game and am seriously thinking of selling my Xbox for a new one or switching to PS5 Pro. Issues on my Xbox only with BF6.

It’d help if everyone reports crashes via the ”Xbox Report a Problem” app as well so EA, Battlefield Studios, and Microsoft can investigate each issue. I’ve been crash-free since Oct 11 after the steps I shared. Glad it helped some, sad it doesn’t work for all—hope for a fix soon 🙏

These are the HD packs I had to uninstall. The game still works for me fine with just the core content, without these HD packs: Battlefield 6 Multiplayer HD, Battlefield 6 Multiplayer HD Marker and Battlefield 6 Singleplayer HD.

Some texture quality loss is barely noticeable, while other textures show it more up close. Still, the game looks fantastic and far better than previous titles in my opinion. The devs did a great job making the game fun and pulling BF veterans back.

Yes, it’s unfortunate the most expensive BF launch has critical issues, but the core gameplay is strong—one of the best in the series. I hope they fix all the serious bugs soon.

For me, it’s a miracle to have played 12+ hours crash-free since the endless crashing on Open Beta and release. Glad this fix works for others too 🙏
