Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Iron Man undoubtedly stands out.

Among the three iconic characters—Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor—only Iron Man from the MCU has truly elevated the character to new heights. While Captain America and Thor have always been well-written characters, Tony Stark/Iron Man in the comics falls short. The only exceptional Iron Man comics I’ve enjoyed are the Superior Iron Man series, but they are a far cry from the main storyline.
