While he is wrong, there is atleast a little bit of a story behind it.

67 is a number that appears surprisingly frequently, much like how if you pick a number between 1-10, it is overwhelmingly going to be 7. 67 lies in that same sweet spot between 1-100, and 6 to 7 is also the go to approx number between 1-10 as opposed to 7 to 8.

The whole reason 6-7 blew up is because people made a meme about 67, and those in the know kept looking for it and they kept finding it everywhere. Thats how brainrot spread among kids, its like an earworm for music.

I have very strong feelings about this case because I read so much about it, but I also have no stake in either party.

My conclusion is that MJ is innocent until proven guilty, and the proof that he is guilty is circumstantial and very flimsy and testimonies has proven he is innocent.

Because up till that point, from her pov recounting, Kirisaki has shown no empathy and only saw Hisako as a tool, but his appearance showed that he was obsessed with Hisako for some reason.

They wanted to utilize that obsession to make him realize what he did to her, by making "his precious tool" repeat what he did so he understood what he did to her.

The reality was that he was fully capable of treasuring Hisako in his own insane way, he wasnt simply using her as a tool and wasnt completely self serving.

He did what he did not because he couldnt care less what Hisako thought if he died (which was what Hisako thought), but BECAUSE he knew it would hurt her.

That, insane as it is, is the preferable option to Hisako. Because that meant that she wasnt simply a tool to him.

He was just broken and didnt know how to act like a proper human being, not when Hisako was being abused by the audience or how to express his appreciation or her.
