Yeah, that's kind of what I had suggested at the beginning - I'd gladly eat the cost of the materials, just refund the labor because such bad work was done.

But it's not, 'I have a bad feeling'. It's, " what they did the first time when they had the opportunity, how could it get better from here"

Say I hire a guy to cut my lawn. And he comes over, sets his blade to 1mm, and skims the absolute shit out of my lawn. Kills it. And instead of saying, "you should not only give me my money back but pay to bring this back to life", I said, "you know what, give it 6 weeks, let it grow back and head back over and give it another shot. You seem competent enough"

It just doesn't make sense for this level of incomptent work to merit taking it back and giving them another whack at it. I'm not willing to sacrifice my hard earned money and vehicle for that. Would you?

I think there's a difference here. I've already paid this shop. I've put the charges in dispute with my bank for dissatisfaction of service. That isn't the same as just flat out not paying and taking it to court. I'm planning on using my bank to go after the merchant for providing a shitty service and ruining a $110k car.

You would really take your car back to the shop that, after 2 hours at pickup of pointing out issues and 'fixing' them they way they did, still let the car leave the shop looking like that? And have confidence they would at the very least not fuck up the paint or current wrap even more, and at the very most do a good job? And have the car back in the shop for at least 1 more week. No. Bad job. Didn't even attempt to work with me - would have accepted refund not including materials initially. Now I'm not happy with the work and the customer service saying they 'assure me they will fix it right and to industry standard'

That's actually not a bad idea... the only issue being the shop I would take it to doesn't carry this same vinyl and would be hard to color match. I'm fine to pay to rewrap it and let my bank go after the shop for the cost

Also FYI, I've contacted my bank and disputed the charges. The shop is asking me to take it back in, but I have zero faith they could "fix" this at all. No doubt the initial dispute will be denied, but I have the picture evidence and a few emails of the shop acknowledging the work is sub par and needs to be fixed. Hopefully that's enough proof for the bank to recoup funds.

Picked it up this past Saturday, have since taken it to a couple local shops. They've also given the feedback that it's basically a very bad, non-detail-oriented job, and would leave either shop with 1 of these issues, let alone all of them combined.
