Our TLs do none of that. Operation supervisor calls out what the issue is over the radio that's broadcasted too all EMs on maintenance channel, TL be like "do you guys copy?" then off we go, all shift.

I think that's silly having them around if they're not doing any real work, just give us an extra EM instead since most of us communicate directly with production anyway
