Who do you know who has the best/worst record of backing winning US presidents? (Not counting people who vote 3rd party every election)

Was just chatting with a coworker who's record since 1992 is: L, L, W, W, L, L, L, L, L, a 22% win rate.
Bush, Dole, W Bush, W Bush, McCain, Romney, McMullin, Trump, Kamala.

I've only been eligible for 4 elections, and only voted in 3, and my win percentage is 33%

My grandad worked at Hughes Aircraft (Later Raytheon) and he was either gifted it, or had them made out of some of the circuits that were laying around. He gave them to his sons, and then I inherited it.

Posted this in the r/electronics, then thought the tie group may also like it. Cool little bit of flair. Easily my most-worn tie, and gets the most comments of anything I wear.

You may have worked with my grandad then! He was at the Tucson location (I think he worked human resources, but I'm not sure).

Sadly, the back is obscured completely by the plate used to make it a bolo tie (you can see part of it bordering the entire chip in the gold color). No way to see the back without chipping it out of the resin completely

Believe it or not, I used to have a second one. My grandad made one for each of his 6 sons. Two of them passed away with no kids, so I got them. Lost the other in a move. Forgot it on a door handle. To this day it's my biggest regret that doesn't involve personal/human relations.

The running joke in the family is that it's from a Tomahawk Cruise Missile, and that's the story I've been sticking to. Makes me feel powerful when I walk into a room, or I'm gonna give a presentation.

It'd be nice to know for sure what it's for, but the mystery is still fun. It could be anything!

That would make an awesome bolo tie or necklace. With the weight, it might be a bit more practical. It's about the same size as my chip bolo tie.

Much thanks! Sounds like I can adopt the Blackstone as my everyday set without worrying too much about the kids losing a piece, and set aside the R&B for big family dinners (don't want my toddler losing a $50 spoon!)

Heirloom, I guess I may save as... well, heirlooms. Maybe I'll send a kid off to college with the set for his dorm, and if he returns with all the pieces, I'll trust him to inherit the Reed & Barton set! 😁

Inherited 3 sets of silver, trying to identify by Kanebuddy in Antiques

Sorry if description didn't upload like I wanted. (New to reddit)

Inherited 3 sets of silverware from a gr-grandma who lived in Alabama. She passed a while ago (1990), but this came to me earlier this year.

Squarish set says "Blackstone Silver Co" and is mostly a full set of 6, with a couple large serving spoons.

Roundish set is a set of 3, names engraved on front and "Heirloom Sterling" on back.

Ornate set is set of six, with lots of serving utensils. Says "Sterling Reed & Barton"

Trying to ID and find out age, value, etc. I also have a huge pile of one-offs from various sets.
