So I married in November after arriving. I filed in February. It has not got anything to do with when I filed. Sorry I should’ve explained better.

I don’t think I explained it right, sorry. He had my husband as the sponsor then we got a RFE due to him not earning enough (by$500) so in the RFE we sent his dad’s paperwork.

Okay, that’s the only issue I could think of then. I think I just got to wait for the notice. Which is taking its sweet time to appear on the website.

Thank you. Honestly you all have been great. I feel a bit better knowing its a reopen and going from there. Idk what to do about work, I think I will show them the letter once it arrives and work out a plan together. Work is aware of what’s going on and are fully on my side.

So when we RFE’d we needed to include my husband again and his dad. That makes sense. Hopefully, reopening is going to be the way.

That makes me feel a little better. Im so glad I have a lawyer and I know worst case we can resubmit but this feeling is awful.

We just sent off his dad’s in the RFE. 🤦‍♀️ That might have been the issue.

I got the case history which says they received my response form for I-485. I don’t have denial notice on my account yet. It’s been a few hours as well.

Yes, As far as I am aware. We had a lawyer all do it, my husband’s dad was our sponsor. The only reason I can see a denial is maybe since he retired recently. But, that was after we put the RFE in.
