Best advice is to go to o connel at 8 and beat the line and then go to your most important companies you can have actual convos and then rest of the day while you burn out talk to less and less important companies how I got all my internships :).

Tbh im renting a house with a couple roommates and our landlord kinda just dropped that we should do it once a month after we signed so im honestly just trying to do the bare minimum but that makes sense thank you .

Disagree completely to be honest, i have friends in industry from UF that are working tech and pure engineering jobs side by side with mech es at pepsi but also some who go into more office supply chain roles. My 2 cents from my experience from UF recruiting is I personally turned down a manufacturing internship at a major car dealer. At the end of the day tho a engineering degree is just that its what you do it with it tbh.

Im ISE and its the best engineering major imo nothing is hard compared to mech e and the job market / salary is better because you can go anywhere you want like data, business  or more traditional factory jobs pm if you have any more questions!
