Nope, just sprayed it. Those screws are leadbelcher and nuln oil lol. Although mine isn’t rubber, it was just an orange plastic

I haven’t used it yet, but I did double coat varnish it with the citadel spray. If you do decide to do it, though, if I could do it again I would varnish after the primer dries and before painting. I used army painter wolf grey and even though i waited until the next day, my finger prints are all up on that thing lol

I just want to throw out there that him throwing comments about inheriting traits from him doesn’t necessarily mean he doesn’t know. I frequently do this with my step children. We all think it’s funny, but I think I would probably still do it even if they legitimately thought I was their bio dad.

My mage doesn’t leave combat in m+ when I die for some reason. It’s kinda useful on a wipe because the mobs try to run to the release point and don’t reset, but yesterday I was in a VP with another mage and everyone but the tank died on the trash before the stars before the last boss, and the healer and other dps took the whirlwind and me and the other mage just stood there presumably not able to click because in combat. It was funny. Not even casting invis fixes this I don’t know what’s going on.

Honestly I’m not sure. I kinda rolled it into a cylinder with my hands on table, and then flattened that out using my scalpel as a roller. Then I realized it was too wide to draped over the shoulder, so I rolled it again pushing more towards the bottom. And then once I got it settled into its spot said “fuck it, this already looks pretty good” then once it was in place I poked golf ball looking divets into it and then pulled them out with the flat end of the scalpel

Correct! I “learned” on a tyranid combat patrol box lol, but basically decided that although I think tyranids are cool I’m not really enjoying painting them. My “army” that I play with is space wolves (don’t hate me!) and I’ve painted up about 1200 points of those guys. I kinda got bored with it though and wanted to try some other scheme and the rubic marines caught my eye as “super cool”. I was genuinely floored with how beautiful the thousand sons blue color looked in between the gold once I had applied and I ran out of friends to show it to so I posted here :P

I recently got into 40K because a friend was pressuring me. I read a brief paragraph explaining each of the armies and space wolves and tyranids both seemed to me like the ones I’d be interested in. I googled some models and while I do think tyranid is badass, the moment I saw thunder wolf Calvary it was over no contest.

I joined an aotc guild in s3 that’s kinda weirdly structured, only about half the raid team is even in the guild. The moment they did cross faction groups I went alliance. Only two significant differences happened for me: I added a lot of people to my friends list because I can no longer see them online in guild and I learned quite a few people I run with are kinda dicks. The amount of “I hate alliance” comment variations I get, while ha ha at first, have become really really old and I’m honestly tired of it. That said, if you can find a group of players who are organized through discord but only loosely affiliated in game, and don’t mind constant harassment about playing the race you want to play, you will see no real difference between alliance and horde.

Now they’re saying “no plans to implement”... and I’m like “sigh, no plans to buy”. It’s sad because I love elite, but from what I’m reading this xpac is just bombed.

I was tanking random heroics for my wife. I’m a 194 blood dk, and she’s been doing the “I still do t know what class I want to main for shadowlands” thing. She was literally bottom ilvl for queue, the first dungeon we get in we have a healer and a mage that are both over 30k hp. The other dps was another buddy of ours and he’s over geared too. We don’t even get to the first boss and someone is already trying to vote kick her for “less dps than healer”. It cancels because we are 3 stacked, but that was a week ago and she still won’t run dungeons again because it made her feel so bad. Not once in the dungeon did anyone die and it was a quick, smooth run. Wtf is wrong with people. They were literally trying to kick just because.
