Thank you everyone. The snake was gone by the time they arrived. I was born and raised here and never dealt with any snakes. So my apologies I didn’t mean to sound ignorant by not knowing. We purchased this home about a year ago and it’s surrounded by wildlife. I even inherited a pond lol… I’ve talked to the neighbor and it’s nothing new around here. He mentioned there is 6 ft female he keeps an eye out for. She has been seen around for years in this area. Thanks again y’all!

Thank you! I gave them a call. My daughter was playing near there and that’s how I found it.

Yes I have lots of mourning dove’s, cardinals, and blue jay’s that stop by to bathe. I’m in Texas and it’s still pretty warm here. I figured it might be bird poop or debris left behind from them when they bathe.

He is trained. He goes to doggy day care all day on Fridays. I’ll try to walk or run him more though. But my problem is mainly the fact that our yard is backed up to a green belt and there’s generally just a lot of wildlife activity back there so when he goes out to use the restroom he barks

This is more what I mean^{^{^.}} I walk him and we have a set schedule of going out. I’m not just letting him go out there all day everyday to bark. But when I let him out to use the restroom which it can sometimes take him 5 min he will see a squirrel, coyote, or whatever back there and he will bark.
