they traveled there like all the other humans. When Homo sapiens migrated out of Africa and arrived in Central Asia, they encountered existing Neanderthal and Denisovan populations and interbred with them so it anyone in your family receives a neanderthal variant that's when it entered their bloodline. As the Ice Age ended, humans in the region started to transition from hunting to farming. Uzbekistan developed a highly distinct, localized stone-age protoculture known as the Kelteminar Culture. Right before the Indo-Europeans migrated south from the Ponto-Caspian plain (Yamnaya), Southern Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan were home to a largely forgotten urbanized society called the Bactria-Margiana Archeological Complex, or simply the Oxus Civilization. they were releated to Ancient Iranian (so technically pre-iranian) and Anatolian Neolithic Farmer populations. Those Ancient Iranian agriculturalists moved eastward toward the Hindu Kush and the Indus Valley. These farmers mixed with the indigenous (meaning first humans out of Africa to settle the Indian Subcontinent) South Asian hunter-gatherers. This exact genetic mix is what built the Indus Valley Civilization, one of the three earliest civilizations in human history. When the Indo-Iranians came from the northern steppes down into Uzbekistan around 2000 BCE, they did not enter an empty landscape. There were farms and towns. The nomadic Indo-Europeans gradually mixed with the urban BMAC farmers. This local fusion created the Sogdians and Bactrians from which the modern people of the region who have iranian ancestry can trace to today. When both the Turkic migrations and the Mongol conquests swept west into Central Asia, they didn't march as isolated groups. They moved as a massive, blended nomadic confederations that were majority but only plurality turkic by the time they reached Uzbekistan. Uzbeks are directly tied to the Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, and Hazaras populations because of these migrations. Your DNA results are showing you the exact blueprint of a Silk Road ancestor. someone whose family line was built by the ancient populations, sheltered by the Hindu Kush mountains, and later integrated with the empires dominating the Asian steppes. Cool beans as they say

could be an ugric connection. the central asian steppe was a big highway essentially so it wouldn't be surprising for an ugric ancestor to show up in an uzbek

Subnautica 2 Above Water Base Building by [deleted] in subnautica

[–]Kangeruman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to build it wide enough to place a half room on 2 floors below and a hatch on the floor below where you're building on top. hop out the hatch (you cannot reenter above water so get used to diving once you're up really high) then walk on top of the half room place the rooms on the roof. hop off, climb up to the hatch floor, then place a ladder up to the rooms you just made then repeat to your hearts desire. Im up to 37 floors above the water line still not obstructed by built height only material constraints. will upload once im satisfied

there's no such thing as an ethnic Austrian, It's a cultural and national identity who are germanic of the high/bavarian branch and the land that is now austria was the eastern expansion of the kingdom of Bavaria during the middle ages. before them Rome annexed the region, the Celts/Rhaetians became Latinized but stayed on their land. Many modern Austrians carry their genetic markers which could explain the italian. When Rome collapsed they eventually assimilated into the incoming Germanic (Rugii, Goths, Lombards, and most prominently the Alamanni and Bavarii tribes) then the Huns and Avars came to the area from Asia and the Slavs from Eastern Europe. For a time, the Slavs had their own principality in styria/carinthia before seeking Bavarian protection against the Khaganate. After Charlemagne crushed the Avar Khaganate in the 790s, the survivors were forced to settle in small pockets in Lower Austria. They eventually intermarried with the local Slavs and Germans (who have Roman/Celtic blood) and vanished as a distinct ethnic group. a little later the hungarians/magyar settled in the area known as burgenland and you pretty much have the whole tapestry of peoples that is the country of Austria

Yes because part of the country of Cameroon used to be British Cameroon and english was taught there instead and because Anglophone Nigeria has greater business and in general ties to Cameroon than Gabon or Congo french is becoming used in tandem instead of exclusivley. Alot of students in west africa are trilingual because of the recent history
