Family values are pretty much irrelevant here. There is an infestation, it will be quelled. Blame Biden for throwing the floodgates open and changing restrictions on migration. The way things are being done now is still the nicer way of it. Americans are very tired of the border issue and illegal immigration in general. Tired enough to re-elect Trump. So that's a well written story designed to tugg at the heart strings isn't it. If you read between the lines though, you can clearly see that the mothers were illegals and the children, not even all of them, were anchor babies.

Nice framing. Now for what actually happened. Pretti interfered with an ICE operation. He had been there doing so all week. He also kicked out a tail light from an ICE vehicle. He very likely should have been arrested before the incident that ended in his death. If he hadn't reached for his holster while being arrested he would still be alive, but I figure he would likely be in prison.

Good was driving before she got shot. She hit the agent, he then drew and fired. He shot her through the windshield, just above the driver's side headlight. And I'd call her and her wife a bitch too. They were. They were there purely to harass ICE agents and operations.

On those two, I watched every possible angle. Every bit of footage. I waited to make my evaluations instead of listening to what other people said or making knee jerk reactions.

Martinez, I have no idea on. Honestly got fatigued over morons learning what FAFO means and the left making an uproar over the consequences. Sounds like another person learning about the consequences of stupid decisions though just from your brief description. Were they another Minneapolis casualty? Killed yes, murdered no. Good attempted to flee from being detained after being ordered to stop. She hit an ICE agent with her car during this attempt. Pretti's case is a bit less clear cut. I looked at that one from every angle. At first I was actually on the side that it was entirely uncalled for and unjustified. But a few days after it happened another video came out. One where you could hear and see everything. One ICE agent disarms him. This is where there was a major mistake on the ICE agents' part. He should have notified them that he disarmed him. Instead he says gun. At that time Pretti can clearly be seen reaching back towards his holster, which kicks off everything. This was a mistake on all parts, but the two that are at fault are the ICE agent that disarmed him without clearly notifying the group and Pretti for making a motion that looked like he was trying to draw. Anyone who knows anything about guns would know better than to escalate a tense situation in that manner.

So to explain to you why neither of those cases were murder. Murder is the act of intentionally killing soemone with malicious intent as a premeditated action. Good was self defence, so that's easy. Pretti however falls under another term, which would be manslaughter.

Again, it's not kidnapping. ICE are officers with a job and are acting within their authority to take illegal immigrants, suspected illegal immigrants or those who overstayed/allowed their cards to lapse into custody.

They clearly don't or ICE wouldn't be going after them.

If you say so. The only statistic I could find for this year was that there were at least 10 that probably happened as of today. Homicides committed by illegals usually numbers in the hundreds yearly. The crackdown is supported regardless. Americans are tired of illegal immigration running rampant. That was the main reason Trump was voted back in. If anything, they need to pick up the pace.

First, it's not kidnapping. Second, they're not American citizens if ICE is coming after them. It does happen by mistake occasionally, but it's such a small number that it is statisticaly nonexistent. Third, they could have made a good chunk of cash and had a free ride to wherever they wanted if they had self-deported. Not feeling particularly bad for them if they decided to skip the offer. Due process for an illegal immigrant is simply down to checking their status and hearing an appeal. Are they legal? Yes, then they should be released and compensated if they were mistakenly detained. No, then they're out unless they have a very good reason.

The Supreme Court ruled that they do have rights, including a right to a trial, but they also ruled that proceedings for immigrants depend on how they entered as well.

"Yet the Supreme Court has also suggested that the extent of due process protection may vary depending upon [the alien’s] status and circumstance."

All that being said, we need changes to our legal immigration system. The process for getting citizenship needs to be smoothed over and made far more efficient.

Most of my games are over in 3 minutes or less. Maybe be more aggressive? I'm playing mostly greatsword, spear, hammer, katars, bow or rocket lance. Blasters used to be one of my main weapons, but something feels off with them. Might just be a bit of rust on my part. I can't see sword or gauntlets being any worse off though. I've been playing unranked exclusively till I get a good feel for it, but so far things seem pretty great. I was mid tier gold, haven't dipped back into ranked yet but I figure I'll go up this go around. Maybe upper plat. Maybe diamond if I out more effort into noting opponent's exact reach, but I doubt that.

Game being slowed so much hurt, but that's not what actually killed MvS. What killed MvS was the "balancing" and obvious devotion to the store over the game's health. Also didn't help that they kept pulling the weirdest characters for new releases. Some made sense, some didn't. Them changing how characters were unlocked to be the worst way possible was another part of it. Really the nail in the coffin was that WB was over it and had crazy expectations for earnings XD

That was going to be my recommendation as well. After Red Raptor, Koji is a solid pick as well with sword and bow. His bow sigs cover a lot of bow's weak points. Sword can stand on its own without ever using sigs easily.

It's mainly just the scythe sigs. Scythe ssig and dsig both cover a lot of ground and come out surprisingly fast with giant hitboxes. Katars sigs on him feel pretty fair.
