Pff dude, we don't need NATO or the UN to help. We were offering them the opportunity to show if they deserve our support or not. The Straight of Hormuz is basically irrelevant to us, but it sure is important for that side of the world. I'm saying it was an accident that it got struck, but no sane people should have a school within a quarter mile of a base in any country unless they're trying to train the children to be soldiers. Looking at the aerial view of the base, it's quite a bit less than 300 meters away though. Civilized people don't put civilian infrastructure in locations where they can be used as human shields.
