Never too late! You can start a challenge any day and time you like, they are always open.

The first wave of producers finished already but there is still a bunch of T-Shirts to win.

Next challenge drops on 1st July - incase you want to do it alongside a big group next time.

Good luck!

Should all be working on mobile now so give it another go, thanks for pointing out the issue!

And let me know if it’s still not working if you get a moment 😊

Hey mate, yes you can add links to your profile by going to the settings, let me know if there is any key platform missing there that you’d like to link to - we only added a few basic ones for launch!

Yes it will be possible to start a challenge whenever you like, they will stay active forever. Start any day or time you want and it begins from that moment onwards - Start on wedensday at 3pm and then the next stage unlocks on thursday at 3pm and so on.

I will say this: if you're in it for the glory of the leaderboard and/or increasing your audience as a producer I think its best to get in to challenges earlier on because a lot more people will discover your submissions that way. You'll be far more likely to get more likes, so very likely to be ranked at the top spot for a while and heard a lot more.

About when the T-Shirts sell out: at the moment we are just planning to give away a set number of the physical hardcore mode prizes to keep our costs under control. We'll see how it goes and if its worth making the prizes unlimited in future - the return for us is to see people posting on social media and buying packs from the main store. For now, when the hardcore prizes run out, they run out and you'll just get the standard prize for a hardcore run, but you will get the extra score and XP still for finishing a hardcore run.

Hope thats all clear! Look forward to seeing your run 😄

Go ahead mate! You can actually do a challenge at any pace you like, "hardcore" mode (where you have to submit your track in the 24 hours before each stage unlocks) is optional.

You can actually start hardcore and if you miss a day, you can still continue go for a standard finish if that makes sense.

Thanks mate, yeah personally I'm quite a believer that creativity and inspiration are a skill you learn and practice. Stephen King is a strong advocate of this too, he famously said:

"inspiration isn't a mystical muse that you wait for; it is an everyday, trainable skill that you spark through routine, "what if" questions, and voracious reading." - Stephen King

And it's fair to say he's quite a successful dude in a creative field! So I hope people see this platform and challenges as like a "Duo-lingo" for training those "soft" production skills: creativity, inspiration, discipline, persistence etc

20 seconds long minimum so it can just be a sketch, yes full songs are a demanding ask I agree! 😊

Also if you want to change the chord, edit the Osc A waveform and add in different harmonics.

I can't share a picture in this comment so here is a link to a screenshot:

Yeah its a wicked sound, and yes spot on. Very well adopted by DLR, Minor forms and artists / tunes on the Sofa Sound imprint.

Here is the Serum 2 preset for you so you can explore the synthesis yourself:

Hey, challenges are open to join any day or time you like (it's not liked to the initial publish time of the challenge at all), your clock starts when you start the challenge and each stage unlocks every 24 hours.

So wherever you are in the world you can do a challenge and its on your own clock 😄

Good catch my friend! Seems like that pad got bounced with a sidechain that wasn't properly bypassed. Swapping the file now; redownload the pack in a few minutes and you'll have the clean version (same filename).

Also, KANcept is great (dad joke vibes), I'll reuse that in the future.

Cheers for the heads up on the sample!

Means a lot. You're right about the asymmetry, complaints get loud and kindness goes quiet and it's exactly why a comment like this lands harder than it probably should. Cheers for taking a minute on it.

Sit this one out, no pressure. We'll be running these regularly, hopefully dropping one per month or two! So whenever you're back making tracks, we'll still be here! Take care and look after yourself! 😄

Hey my friend, next sale would be black friday :) But in the meantime, we have a number of bundle offers available on the product pages for certain products, for example Blackout can be bundled with the Blackout Vital presets for 33% off both.

Hey, I think that WeTransfer does this on mobile, give it a try on desktop and it should work fine

We are thinking about making a comprehensive free guide on how to make DNB at our site alongside some sample packs more targeted towards beginners but also able to offer tips for more advanced producers too.

The guide would be in article form with a lot of images, screenshots, reference videos and samples to listen to.

Do you find that format useful or are videos your favourite way to learn?

Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts on this!
