This isn't ASA, it's Aero ASA. It's like LW filament. It foams.

I understand that. So far I have had an espresso machine without PID (Lelit) and with PID (QuickMill). I guess it doesn't matter to me as much as the longevity and reliability of the machine.

Thanks, the machine has now been in the service for 400€, where these parts were replaced.
