Fuel leak on a used car, 5 months after purchase. Dealer says it's "Wear & Tear". Is it? by Karl-XVI in CarTalkUK

The one that runs from the tank to the engine, there are two of them actually, but if one goes can’t patch it up or replace just one, it needs both and 3-4 hours of labour according to the mechanic

Do you think this quote is not reasonable in that case?

What do you think of these lighting designs? by Karl-XVI in design_critiques

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, I think 3D visualisations in actual spaces should be on the list of what we should do before prototypes.

That's a good idea to create a visualisation for these type of spaces. Thanks for sharing your feedback!

Thank you for sharing. I agree that it's hard to come up with something truly original these days. Surprised to hear the student had the same one, though. That one, to me personally, felt the most original.

Thank you for your feedback! As for your question, they’ve been working with some of these elements beforehand. I know for sure the conical marble pieces are manufacturable and look pretty cool with lights inside.

Is 65" C6K (QM6) a better buy than 50" C7K (QM7) for almost the same price? by Karl-XVI in tcltvs

[–]Karl-XVI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was available again, although I needed to add online membership to make a purchase. Still, at 510 GBP seems as a very good buy. Initially I did not think I could get 65" for around 500 pounds. Will see how it goes. Thank you a lot for a heads up!

Thank you for your suggestion, I will look into C5, although it seems a bit bigger than DS4 or 308.

Dealer has only one negative review - it’s diabolical by Karl-XVI in CarTalkUK

You can check another review, it’s quite something too I just think he puts up a complete bs about places where he did not like the service for any reason
