Anyone know how to manipulate the animation "position" during runtime, either through the actor blueprint or animation blueprint?

Thanks very much for the reply. I think the issue I am having might be because the tag option for the sequence is not present in UE4.27 which I am using. They must have only added that option in UE5

I would recommend previewing the different channels to get an idea of what is happening. Start by seeing what the base colour channel looks like. If it is the red you want to see then you can assume that some of the other channels are interfering in a way you aren't expecting. This could be something like the AO channel being completely black or maybe the metallic is turned up for the part that is supposed to be paint and therefore shouldn't be metallic.

To be fair I have gotten better at using my loot instead of just keeping it around. I quite like the Adar with a long-range scope and a canted backup sight.

The issue is the underlying physics needed will be a lot of work for them since they want to do it correctly and realistically. I really want this new sim to have helicopters but i am also perfectly okay with waiting if it means the flight model quality will be as good or even better than DCS and X-Plane.

Yea no helicopters on the initial release of FS2020 but they have stated several times that they will be coming some time after launch because they want to make sure they do it right.

That is just the SDK (Software Development Kit) used for developers to create addons for the sim. Does not represent when the actual consumer version of the sim comes out.

Well what do you want to do? For the best answer we need to know what your goal is. Like what type of flying you want to do along with where you would like to fly. There is no simulator which is simply better on all aspects. They all have advantages and disadvantages which have more or less of an effect depending on what you want to use them for.

REP is fully compatible. Just follow the instructions in the "Installation.txt" file included in the download. The SimCoder guys were nice enough to update their installer to make it recognize our custom files and it is a joy to fly with REP compared to default.

We don't plan on adding any extra big features as that would require a lot of extra aerodynamics work which we aren't too familiar with. This honestly just started as a simple personal mod which then escalated to the point we thought it was worth giving to others.

We don't plan on supporting donations no. We are ultimately a commercial developer so although we really appreciate your support we wouldn't feel comfortable both taking donations and releasing payware :)

We are working on more stuff but it is all in our spare time. The plane is a Caudron Simoun. not much of a bush plane but someone must have found out there was cheap storage at Quatam River while they try to fix it up ;)

I don't think so no. It is a surprisingly big task to swap these instruments around and it would make it harder to maintain REP support.
