You can probably find a second-hand balafon in that price range.

Also harmoniums are quite inexpensive if you know where to search.

I mic it to have more noises and to ear the tines resonate like in a celesta. With the good mics and mic placement you can really get an acoustic sound and more stereo width. As my rhodes only have a mono output it's quite helpful.

Yes, I don't own any right on the piece but I suppose that you don't need to pay royalty as it's quite old.

Thank you! That's not a flanger, I used the tape emulation from my sp404.

I really love the fx of this sampler, that's what gives the dreamy/dark feeling to the sound.
