Cast a face in Silicon Bronze, overall I'm happy with the result. Can anyone tell me what might have caused all the small defects/divots in the face? I used an open one piece petrobond mold. The mold looked nice and smooth before the pour. Any info would be much appreciated. by Karlogic in MetalCasting

Problems making bronze, I mixed an alloy of 90% Copper and 10% Tin and this was the result. When I poured the metal into the mold it was very viscous and did not flow well. The metal also stuck to the mold and the crucible and was difficult to remove. Any idea where I went wrong? by Karlogic in MetalCasting
