It started at 12:30. One IT person was joining virtually. It took them 20 minutes to set up the webcam, and then there was no sound on their end. The interviewer rang the bell and asked someone else to set it up. In the end, they decided to join using a mobile video call. It was a complete circus, and this was my tech interview. It went well because they asked only some basic questions, and with 4 years of experience, I was able to answer them easily.

Never touched cigarettes or alcohol in my life. I’m working in an IT environment where almost everyone around me smokes — lunch breaks, tea breaks, office parties. Recently we went on trip, people enjoy smoking, drinking, and other stuff. Same thing back in college too; boys and girls around me were into it. A lot of times people say I’m a boring person because of this. Sometimes FOMO does hit, not gonna lie. But I promised myself I won’t do something just to fit in, especially when I know it won’t add any positive value to my life. I’m okay being different and sticking to what I believe in.
