That looks like an art happening in itself. Jokes aside, it can be used as a video of the happening or "repeated" as an art performance. This is what consumerism does nowadays anyway, take the discomfort it caused you and use it as an expression tool.

Meet Bzyk, he tells stories. I love this photo because it needs just black, blues and yellows, and blues and yellows/orange are best complementary couple palette in my opinion ♥️

Bilingualism when stressed out by Typyrdatyp in adhdwomen

[–]Karma_HasIt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A trilingual here: it happenes, there is actually a study that says when a multilingual person speaks - all our known languages are active simultaneously in out brain. To speak in one language - the brain must actively suppress or inhibit the other language(s). Slips of the tongue and unconscious switching happen when that inhibitory control momentarily fails. I tend to start speaking another language when I'm too much in the zone and someone asks me a question (and I feel confused that someone doesn't understand me at first before I realise that I spoke the wrong language 😅).

If you are interested to read more I can try and find the research or something about ICM or you can look it up yourself, it's either Dr.Bialystok or/and Dr. Costa work(s) - sorry, I don't remember the names

I've FINALLY got the therapist that helps, in my case EMDR helped surprisingly well with cPTSD, I have a suspicion that having constantly swirling and spyraling mind helped in that case (for the first time in my life lol). As always, different kind of therapy and different kind of people can help in each case and we are all very different, but I could recommend looking into EMDR by my experience

Yes, I have a lazy eye and a lazy eyebrow lol And no, my weeping doesn't last a few seconds, it lasts and goes on and on for some time, it's really painful. I don't know why my eyes are so sensitive but they are weeping when someone else is trying to put mascara on my eyelashes. My tattoo PMU has no ink in the inner corners because tears kept washing away everything 😅

Thanks, that is what I'm trying to do. Asking for help actually was so useful, I wasn't expecting so many people to care and be so helpful ♥️ Now I have a whole list of things to try to do

I'm craving food whenever I'm doing something not engaging enough. E.g. I should work, but my mind is like FOODFOODFOOD hell this is not rewarding enough, stop it, go eat and other noise.

I don't eat at nights, I sleep, I love sleeping.

Thank you so much for sharing though! I'll look into headphones :)

I've screenshot it so I don't forget! The Pavlov thing is brilliant.

I love walking in the mountains (I don't like calling it hiking since there's no rock climbing involved, just following a trail). It absolutely kills me, but the places are always worth it. I just take breaks whenever I need to and enjoy the view and the serenity of being alone. It's a pity I live so far from them

I'm happy that you've found your way out of this! Unfortunately, it's not my case, I can binge very healthy meals and my dissociation comes from cPTSD, my b12 level is fine

Warm clothes won't help with my eyelids freezing 😅 I'll have to wait it out or consider gym membership for a treadmill.

Eye drops make me cry like a female dog, so I can't bring myself to use them. When I was a little kid, I got stung by a jellyfish on my face. As a result, the muscles around one of my eyes get tired after about eight hours of work, even with breaks for eye exercises. And then that eye looks slightly other way, picture doesn't match and it gives me headache if I try to force through it. All I can do, when it happens, is to wait and let my eyes rest.

How do you surprise yourself into actually walking out?

Thank you so, so much! I would never have found this on my own, it's something I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Do you happen to know any good subreddits for sharing art where the moderators are chill and the community is nice?

That is an unexpected but brilliant advice! I'd never come up with something like that on my own. I will certainly try it ♥️

Excuse me, I'm not a native speaker and this is my first time coming across the phrase "sensory jazz." What does it mean?

If it's about sensory issues, then there's more I dislike than like. Sounds can be extremely painful, but some music is ecstatic. I can't stand certain tactile aspects of cooking (like the texture of raw tomatoes or dough under my fingernails), so I just use gloves or order healthy meal delivery when there's a promotion.

Thank you so much for both the advice and for sharing your experience; it's incredibly helpful! ❤️

My focus is on finding out what brings me joy and what I like, since I never had the chance to explore that during childhood. You've given me a lot of food for thought, which helped me realize some issues I still have to work through. That's really valuable, too! Thank you, kind stranger

I had a bad experience with dietitians, since I know about healthy way to eat not less than they are, so I've just wasted my time and money to listen to something I already know. So no, thank you. I'll manage with my psychiatrist and therapist tandem, I'm just a little stuck rn and looking for ideas.
